Hi everyone,
I would very much like your sincere help from you.
I have done a lot of research on the internet and I had many doubts which printer I should invest in.
I found the models from Phrozen: Phrozen Shuffle, Phrozen Shuffle XL and Phrozen Shuffle 4k.
I also found the 3d printer Peopoly Moai and Wanhao D7 Plus.
I would like to have a 3D printer focused on the very detailed Action Figures / Statues (skin, pores, and extreme fine details) aimed at collectors.
Honestly, I'm lost, but before asking you for help, I researched a lot to understand things a little better.
Please, correct me if I'm saying something wrong.
1) Phrozen Shuffle: I saw a lot of photos of printed models and it seemed to me to have a good quality. I don't know if the print could accurately capture all the extreme details I sculpted in the 3d sculpting program. The only "problem" would be regarding the print area which is not very large.
Another thing I discovered would be the upgrade to ParaLED 2.0, and I don't know how much this upgrade would further improve print quality of the Phrozen Shuffle.
2) Phrozen Shuffle XL: I saw some pictures of printed models and I thought it was good, but I noticed those stair effects on the model. The printable area is large, but when I compared model photos between Phrozen Shuffle XL and Phrozen Shuffle, I can see that Phrozen Shuffle has better resolution quality. I know this quality loss of Phrozen Shuffle XL is related to XY. But I don't know if comparing a character or creature with extreme level of skin detail and etc. if there will be a very big visible difference in print quality between Phrozen Shuffle XL and Phrozen Shuffle. And if printing with better quality would still appear the stair effect.
Another question would be if there is an upgrade to ParaLED 2.0, would that mean what about the print quality of Phrozen XP? Would it look like print quality of a Phrozen Shuffle without updating? I'm just wondering ...
3) Phrozen Shuffle 4K: I only saw one picture comparing Phrozen Shuffle and Phrozen Shuffle 4k (a model of a crucifix). It seemed to me that the Phrozen Shuffle 4k is better than the print quality of Phrozen Shuffle. But I don't have a clue about the resolution quality of Phrozen Shuffle 4k because there aren't many photos of a printed model of a character or creature with high levels of detail.
So I couldn't compare the print quality between Phrozen Shuffle and Phrozen Shuffle 4k.
The problem is that the Phrozen Shuffle 4k's print area has been reduced by 3 cm on the Z axis, but it seems that print speed has increased due to the internal design having only 1 axis (I've seen in reviews and some people complain about not have more 2 axes with the ball as there is in Phrozen Shuffle and Phrozen Shuffle XL). So I don't know if that means positive or negative things for Phrozen Shuffle 4k.
Regarding printing software, I noticed that there are people who are complaining about using their own software designed to make Supports and Slice models on Phrozen Shuffle 4k. It seemed to me that these people did not have a good experience and I also don't know if Phrozen Shuffle 4k would accept the use of other external programs on the market.
Another thing that caught my attention is that the Phrozen Shuffle 4k is completely different in use compared to the other two Phrozen Shuffle and Phrozen Shuffle XL 3d printers. And once again, I don't know if this is good or not.
4) Peopoly Moai: I saw some photos of models made with this printer and it seems to me that the quality is good. It has a large print area like Phrozen Shuffle XL, but it seems that compared to Peopoly Moai's print quality resolution it can be compared with Phrozen Shuffle (May even be better or not?) Or Phrozen Shuffle XL?
5) Wanhao Duplicate D7: I saw prints with detailed models, but I noticed many people complaining about the printer.
Really, I am very undecided and with many doubts.
I would very much like to make the right decision in choosing the 3d printer for my goal of producing a very high quality print product for very detailed action figures / collector statues.
Please could you help me?
Thank you very much
