Anyone uses prusaslicer for supports only? Have any link to setup the slicer for photon?

Anyone else have stl file size issues when loading files in chitubox? Is this a chitubox limitation or a windows issue? I am trying to load atlas larger than 1gb into chitubox. In the past this has failed. I’m trying to figure out why. I can have six instances of prusa slicer up with models in each instance and six instances of chitubox hollowing and slicing all at the same time but I cannot load a single file larger than 1 gb in chitubox even if it’s the only chitubox window open on a fresh restart.

Thoughts or ideas on how to change this?

Workflow question,
I started using ChituBox almost right out of the box after reading many, many less than stellar opinions of the stock slicer, and I'm pretty happy with it. I've actually used it to hollow a couple of times and it has worked out fine for me.

I tried MeshMixer, and I've had a few issues with odd artifacts in the surface of the item after hollowing and adding drain holes, pretty much any time i'm adding the drain holes when it's on a face that's not perfectly flat. It's ok if it's the flat bottom of something, but if it's a face that has details and some large flat areas that I'm putting the holes in, I get weird jagged surface artifacts all around the holes, so I've been hollowing in MM, then digging the holes in Chitu, and that seems ok.

I started playing with PrusaSlicer to place supports, and it seems to be pretty good, but I've only used it a couple of times.

However, last night I did run into a problem. I'm trying to print a larger piece that I wanted to hollow. So I hollowed in MM, exported and then opened in Prusa, and added supports, and I could not get it to generate ANY supports inside the very large hollow.

Anyone have experience with using Prusa's auto-support to put supports inside a hollow print?

Can someone help me determine why Prusa Slicer wont let me set up a custom build plate it keeps asking for a firmware and then using fdm settings.

So what is the reasoning behind photon file validator and island checking etc? I use PrusaSlicer, orientate for the best angle and bang on auto supports at 80%. Maybe a little manual placement but that's it, never have an issue. Am I missing something that could take my mini printing to the next level?

First printed miniature in my Photon S. Came out great! I don’t know what I’m more impressed with . The quality of the prints or the simplicity of getting this thing up and running. I literally pulled it out of box, tightened 2 screws . Leveled bed in 5 min and was printing .

Took me 17 hours to build my Prusa Mk3s.

I just switched from Elegoo Gray to Siraya Fast Gray on my Photon S and I need some help with Prusa auto-support settings.

I stuck with the default 1 mm minimal distance and 100% support points density - some of the sides of the supports ended up sticking on areas of the print. How should I adjust it to avoid this?

The details that I'm getting aren't as sharp as what I'd get from the Elegoo. I'm currently using these settings for my Photon S; what should I change?

0.05 mm layer thickness
1s off time
8s exposure
8 bottom layers
60s bottom exposure
