im having excellet results with prusaslicer autosupports. But the base that it creates under the model is much harder to remove from the build plate than the supports created by chitubox which adds an angle to the support base that legs you get underneath the base much easier. I dont see a setting in prusa to changes this, anyone know how to make the prusasupports easier to remove from the plate? I have been having to use a metal scraper instead of the pastic onethat usually works and dont want to damage the plate?

Hi everyone. Thanks for the help earlier.
Anycubic photon.
Anycubic trans yellow resin.
Ran model through prusa 2.1 auto supports.
Sliced in chitubox.
Funky left leg. I’m guessing I need to add a support or several on the funky leg.
Correct me if I’m wrong.

Hello hive mind. I have noticed that my recent models have lost detail on the side facing my lcd screen. I had read this was a common issue due to the manufacturing process, but just recently started noticing it on my prints. If I understand correctly this is caused by light bleed on the side facing the LCD.

Is there anything I can do to reduce the behavior? Tried searching, but really only found post stating it was a thing not how to compensate or minimize the effect.

I am currently printing with Siraya Fast Gray at 8 second exposure on a Beam3D Prisim which utilizes a 57 watt parallel LED array. I thought I was over exposing as its got a similar loss of detail, but if I drop to 6 or 7 seconds I have issues with support not properly attaching and the model does not have as defined details on portions not facing the LCD.

Unfortunately I am at work and forgot to take pictures, but had a few minutes to post so wanted to get some thoughts. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

** Edit as I was writing this post I realized I also made a change to using Prusa auto supports at about 75% density which gives me great results from a support perspective, but previously I was manually support every model. Could it be that the resin is not able to flow away from the model between layers due to support density/size?

An exciting new problem. See the snip of the build plate. This dude on the right is, um, not right? These models were supported then exported in Prusa, ready to slice in Chitubox, but that one model shows up like that when opened. Trivia: he is a mirrored copy of one of the other models. Any ideas?

Re:Bases, I feel like I'm missing something obvious. If I print them flat on the base they turn out great but they are impossible to pry off without wrecking them. If I support them they often warp a bit. Is it likely I'm just an idiot and undersupporting them? I usually just use prusaslicer for supports. Or is there a trick I dont know about?

That bottom is like an eighth of an inch thick from prusa slicer supports. How do I change that? Prusa supports seem way better but I'm having some serious issues with this throwaway bottom piece being so thick. What settings do I need to change?

Thank you for allowing me to join this group. I'm a railway modeller ( TT or 1:120 cale ) . I own a Prusa MK3 FDM printer for low resolution parts ( fences for example ) and have highly detailed parts printed ( engines and wagons bodies ) at Shapeways. But now, home resin printers are affordable and after reading 4 positive reviews I'm very interested in purchasing the Anycubic Photon .

My first resin print. Little corner leveling error on top pic. I think I did alright otherwise. Any suggestions? I used anycubic grey. Voyager has stepping, I used the prusa optimal orientation (going to redo it larger and a different orientation).

Yeah, running into to problems again ? ??‍♂️

I'm trying to print a Chibi Carnage model but I'm getting failures.. and the weird thing is, the solid head stuck to the plate and printed (with a few teeth missing due to supports..) but the hollowed arms wouldn't print at all ??‍♂️

Added supports in Prusa, sliced in Chitubox, ran trough validator, adjusted a few supports and got no islands. Started the print and only the supports printed..

Same with the solid head, validator said perfect but the print isn't..

Anycubic white - 0.05, 12s, 6, 80s

Is there anybody who can help me out ?
