What's the proper way/proper place to dispose of IPA/Water that has been used to clean off resin? Dumping it down the drain or flushing it is not a good idea as that's introducing it to the water supply

Doing my first print with polyjuice water washable resin tonight ***UPDATE*** so the initial smell and smell when printing is just as bad as any other resin. However post printing the parts smell less and hardly smell at all when curing. i did two test pieces very small and am curing one in just water one in ipa. Looks good so i am doing a large print that i will post pics and review.

Hello everybody,

I have just received my photon(v1), and I want to ask you something regarding the display. I only turned on the printer and did the display test. I whipped with IPA the display but it seems that it is some dirt on the other side of the display. Should I open it and clean also the inner face of the display?(it the prints will not be affected by this?)
I have attached some pictures to see what is the problem. Beside this, it seems to be ok. I don't have any wobble in the z axis.
In the next days I should receive also the resin- is there any test that I should do to see what are the best values for specific resin/colour?

Hi.. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong ? When the prints finished I put it in a tub of IPA swirl it around then put it in a different tub of water but then it fizzes and all this white stuff appears ?

So first major fail. Any idea what the fault is.

With my limited knowledge I would say it's either:

Firmware

Screen

FEP

Bad Luck

When I look closer at the model it looks like the pieces are supports that have broken off and then squished itself.Did I have to many supports?

When I do the screen test it looks ok,

Firmware is 4.2.3,

The Fep is a bit wobbly/wavy in one part, but I've done other prints ok and it's still taught,

Something I've noticed with the Resin I use Wanhao Water Washable Grey (and no I do not flush the water down the drain I handle it the exact same way I would IPA) is that the resin and the pigment(?) separate themselves if the sit, even during printing is this something I need to worry about?

EDIT: There was also some stuck resin on the bottom, and this is why I think some supports broke of, it could just be that I missed and island. I am pretty sure I got the all though.

I managed to spill some resin on the floor, and I whipped it clean with 91% IPA TWICE. But it still feels tacky. Any suggestions ?

Whelp, I overfilled once (literally once) and got resin in the ball joint which prevents it from fastening securely.

I went to disassemble and clean everything, and I can't get one of the four screws that hold the build plate on because it looks like resin has clogged the hex slot.

I'm soaking the assembly overnight in IPA, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Curious if anyone has any experience with how temperature effects the post cure print. I recently started using Siraya Blu after using almost exclusively Elegoo Gray and on a whim instead of completely cleaning my vat I approximated a 50/50 mix and did a quick test to see what exposure times were needed (can leave same as just the Blu). Anyway the supports are noticeably harder to remove and the Blu seems to have added some strength. After the IPA rinse I sometimes use a hair dryer to speed up the evaporation. This time I left it on high and the print became extremely flexible, like rubber. I then took it straight to the curing light. Can this “temper” the resin? Is this a good or bad thing? I’ll report with my findings but I was curious if anyone else had experimented with heat as part of their curing process.
