Well!

Back in June my screen crapped out on me. I was getting holes in my models because there were large areas of dead pixels.

I bought a replacement screen but botched the replacement job. And the test pattern was showing as all on, not a rectangle outline.

Last month Anycubic sent me anew one and it arrived Thursday.

I tried to install it today.

Bad news: the previous screen is kinda glued down and removing it is proving to be hard, and shards of glass are everywhere!

But the good news: I plugged the new screen in and confirmed it is working perfectly!

So hopefully after I remove the rest of the current shattered screen, I will be back in business, 8 months later!!!!

hello I tell you what has happened to me to share my experience if there is one that can be useful in the future, I realized a long time ago that the plastic of the cubet had a micro hole for which it lost resin, I changed it when I saw it coming out , little but something had come out, after that the printer worked but the base of the model was always released, I went crazy configuring it, even in my effort to calibrate it well parti the glass of the screen, the other day to go to change it and look I realized that the problem is that the resin had been introduced inside making a plate that made it impossible to pass the light, to go to remove it with a spatula the raye thinking it was crystal and is metraquilato, I have ordered a piece equal in a glass and I will mount it again, this time I will assure the edges of the screen in case there is ever a leak, and I hope to repair it, I will tell you if everything goes well. Looks worse in photo than related life and it still prints fine. But is that a damaged screen or just top glass?

I've seen many instances here of a damaged FEP leaking resin onto the LCD screen and ruining it. Would it be OK to just lay (or tape) a second layer of FEP film over top of the LCD, to protect it? Anybody here already doing that? I also saw some people applying tempered glass screen protectors but it seems like the FEP idea would be simpler and possibly cheaper (and you need spares on hand anyway).

I grow tired of the sonicator.

So earlier this week my FEP failed and split causing resin to harden onto the screen, I fixed the FEP and got successful print. I swapped to chitubox to produce supports on Light settings, and then imported into anycubic slicer and my print failed what is strange is raft stuck but nothing else any one with any idea what time of happened this was after levelling bed and when print started I definitely heard the classic Pop in layers, now it looks like there are air bubbles in between my FEP

Hey everyone,

How do you mix resin together? Do you use a glass flask or empty resin bottle and what is the process like (do you shake it again afterwards, how do you measure the amount, etc.)

I've been digging through the group but haven't got any luck yet, thanks in advance.
