Sometimes ChiTuBox will not allow me to place a support. And sometimes when I click auto support, nothing happens. Is there something I can do to or am doing wrong? Sometimes when it happens I can go to the Mac version and get it to work.

You know what will be really cool? If the vast casing was clear. So you know if your print is actually printing. I know for dlp printers it needs to keep tension on the film, but it gotta be a way. Even if the whole vast becomes a consumable, I will totally be into it. The only way I check if the print is sticking to the plate is that listen to the “click” sound when the plate spectated from the bed.

Best way to print something like this ? I'd ideally like to get as much onto the build plate as possible, so probably printing vertically, but i'm concerned the supports may not be enough to hold it to the plate mid print, i've tried printing direct on that plate, that worked but added some size distortion and would block some of the holes. Is best option to lift the model 5mm and then put a good amount of support below it ? (the model will be hollowed out).

Also, the resin is too brittle for the clips to work properly, they snap rather than bend like fdm abs would, would monocure flex be an option or should i just swap to using magnets and fix the pegs in.

Currently using ChiTuBox 1.2.0 and I'm trying to remove a support but cant figure out how to do it. It highlights in red but nothing happens. Clicking delete removes the whole model. What am I doing wrong?

I know this is a bit random, but does anyone else look at a picture of someone's model in a slicer, and right click to change the view before realising that it's just a picture and cannot be manipulated. I think I do it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Lol

So I have a larger photon file then I have personally ever printed (22mb), and when I put the flash into the printer and click print, I see it as the only file on the drive but then the whole system stops up the flash drive just blinks. I can't see a preview for the file like usual. I have tried reformatting and putting the file back on there.

I feel like it's just "buffering" the file, and since it is a larger file it is taking longer? I'm not sure though, thoughts?

Alright... this feels like a dumb question, but in the Anycubic photon slicer, I click on open file, go to the USB stick and find the Photon.Photon file, open it and it pops up the LCD viewer. but it doesn't add it to the print box displayed on the screen. Am I missing something SUPER obvious?

Can anyone suggest why my 2mm thick base turns out to have this ridged texture when the actual file is smooth? Ignore the curved groove, it's part of the design but this happens when I print a basic flat base too. Past few prints have been 32mm minis with no bases, and they turned out great.

Part was printed at about a 60 degree incline (see second pic) with heavy auto supports from chitubox 1.2.0. Resin is 5:1 ratio monocure rapid grey and monocure flex 100. Bottom layers: 8, exposure time: 12s, bottom layer exposure: 120s, off time 1s, z-lift 5mm, 50um layers. Photos taken while priming/sanding.
