Quick question or two folks... Has anyone had a sort of custard-skin type thing of soft resin appear round the edge of their vat? I noticed this after my last print. The print was fine, but not sure what's caused it. It was stuck quite firmly to the long side of the vat and floated on the surface of the resin up to about 1cm in from the side. Took a bit to clean off but i want to stop it happening again if I can. It was like a thin layer of resin jelly that was stuck to the side like the build plate sticks resin. I should say it 'sstuck above the surface, so I don't think it was the lcd that cooked it. It's very odd. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

So what do people use to clean the vat out with obviously blue roll is to rough hence I need to replace the fap I have micro fibre cloth for the lcd just dont want to use it on the vat as will have to keep throwing them away

So, just for conversation, since the Photon is made simply with a smart phone screen (I know, over simplified), then why not build one with a tablet sized screen? All you would have to do is scale up the size of everything else. Imagine a build size of 8"X10"X10". Make it a 4K screen and you have quite the printer. Double rail of course, USB 3.0 capable, dual USB and USB-C, 3"X5" LCD front panel. You could do all of this and still keep it under $500US. Thoughts??

any ideas?

It seemed like my lcd screen died but it may be more then that. it did the usual black spots on the uv test that would show up in my prints. I have tried 2 different new LCD screens one directly from anycubic and I one from epax.

I can't get either screen to show up the rectangle in the uv test. I've had several geeks, come and see if its installed properly, we have tried updating and then going to the original firmware.....

Not sure what to try next?
