Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » USB

Took the Anycubic S back apart so I could get some measurements for a couple mods.

So I decided to take a few more close up pictures of the new mainboard.

First part is an 80 to 120mm fan adapter for the led heatsink.

I also want to create an updated fume vent as there are now 2 30mm fans pulling air from the chamber.

I was also looking at moving the usb to the front of the unit. One of the advantages of the new plastic frame is its easier to mod.

If you want pictures of anything else let me know I probably won't be putting it back together until Saturday.

Hey Folks,

Been throwing around an idea for the last month or so of building a 'DLP Beginner's Kit' for new players in the Photon game. While the stuff that comes with the printer lasted me a couple of days, I then spent a week waiting for orders of other stuff to arrive, like curing lights, paper filter funnels for resin, that sort of thing.

Currently planned inclusions:
1) BIG box of decent nitrile gloves.
2) 50-pack of 150 micron filter funnels for resin changes.
3) A decent quality knife or metal scraper for popping prints.
4) A couple of higher-quality USB drives pre-loaded with a resin mix g-code file and maybe a couple of my fun sample prints.
5) Safety glasses.
7) A 5m Roll of 12V UV LED strip to make a curing bucket.
8) Power Supply for the LED strip.

The things I'm not so sure on are:
* Mask with activated carbon cartriges.
* LED Nail Light instead of UV strip.
* Turntable for curing station.
* A sample bottle of ResinAway and/or PlateBond.

My main issue is that, being Australian, it's bloody hard to get the pricing competitive, so I'd be looking to provide something that was more about convenience factor than cheapest cost.

I'm just chasing feedback at the moment, wondering what people think of that packing list, and how much people would be willing to pay for a kit like that?

Thanks for the help!

Does the Photon S have any restrictions as to which USB drive it can use?

I already have a 128gb patriot rage stick, but I know some boards have issues with drives bigger than 16 or 32gb

Recommendations?

Hey there
I got my Photon now about one month ago and it prints very well, but today I ran into the issue that it starts printing the first layer and then restarts with the bootscreen. This happened with a few different files, which worked fine yesterday. I’m not using the original usb stick. I wanted to film it, but now it decided to print again.
Does anyone know this problem und how to solve it.

So a little bit of brown pants time today. The photon finished a print as normal. Went on to the next one and the LCD mask
was doing all sorts of random lines etc. The control lcd was also showing about 1/4 of the image it should have been on the far right like it was sqashed. Confirmed it wasnt the file I was trying to print or the USB stick. Test image showed an old TV fuzzy/snow like image. Firmware flash (4.2.12)sorted it luckily but had updated it just a week or so back. Bit of a worrying thing to happen with less than 1.5l of resin having been through it so far. Anyone had similar experience? Is flashing to fix it a common thing or perhaps iffy firmware?

I've sliced and saved file. Mesh/STL. Looked at preview. No layers missing. Pop usb into printer, get ready to print, but no preview on screen, and slice says 0/0
Totally confused.
Saved onto a new USB, sliced etc still 0/0
Help please

Memory Error M_100000.
So I already printed a couple of times without any problems.
Today I wanted to print again but when I plugged in the original USB-Stick I got the error. I then formated the Stick again with FAT32 but still the same. Then I tested my SandDisk 8 GB stick and this worked at the beginning. But after four layers I got the error again and it stopped printing.
Any ideas?

First print !! So this is a mount for some electronics to give 5.5V USB power from a commercial Milwaukee battery for power tools. I screwed up some dimensions but the next one should fit properly. Very cool stuff and very happy with the results of this printer, even though the print was not perfect, I am still really impressed by what it does and glad I bought it !! :D

When your print is just starting and seems like its going good, you go to walk away and hear BEEP BEEP.......M_11800. Been dealing with this since friday night. 11 USB drives later and still nothing. I got 5 good prints out of it today and then right back to M_11800. Bypassed the USB cable and went directly to the board with all 11 USBs. Still the same. PSU is good. Firmware is updated.

Does this mean it's a main board issue?
