I would like to know what the average temperature tolerance of cured resin parts is? I need my part I'm printing to withstand -10C to 75C. Anyone know where I can find this info? I've looked all over google, Amazon, etc. I have no high temp resin on hand and would prefer to avoid it as that resins temperature tolerance is way above what I need and dont want overkill when I can work with what I have.

Printing Anycubic Black, been having great results. 10 mm offset from bed, .02mm step height, 7.2s exposure. I'm wanting to refine as I'm having a slight issue whenever I put supports into a flat surface (mix of medium and light). Two images, first shows flat surface post support removal. The issue is the flat surface is lumpy; the second image is the comparator with the flat surface not being used for the supports. I have this issue often, when supporting into a flat surface, that surface itself becomes distorted/lumpy. Its almost as if the proximity/density of the supports doesnt allow resin to move out/drain and light refraction causes the resin to cure locally. Perhaps I'm using too many supports? I'll post this and add a screen shot of my support scheme.

A bit of advice please

First of all- blown away with the photon- had for 2 weeks and gone through 1l grey gloop with lots of successful prints

I’m pretty sure my lcd screen has some resin/baked cured onto it
There’s some mild roughness to touch and my last 2 prints have had a very mild print error in what looks like a corresponding area

Is that likely that 1-2mm
Resin under the vat is interfering with the print
( I would assume it’s absorbing/interfering with the UV light getting to the print surface??)

And the instructions say alcohol on a cloth but so far that hasn’t got it off

How hard can I remove
Any advice how if a wash with IPA isn’t working ?

Many thanks in anticipation

New day, new problem!

I'm finding that my prints are too brittle. If this are how brittle fresh prints are I can't imagine how bad cured prints are!

This led me to assuming my exposure time per layer at is too high and the print is curing too hard as it goes.

I'm using an exposure time of 7.5 seconds for Anycubic Green resin for normal layers at 0.2mm. Is this too much?

Is the anycubic resin any good? Or is there another brand you guys would recommend?

I've just found 1ltr anycubic grey for £29.99 on fleabay. Is this a good price?

I normally use technology outlets own brand of resin, but that was being used on my sparkmarker SLA.

What resin should i use for knobs and functional parts , most of what i print is parts for vintage synths , so switches and knobs etc , so brittle stuff is not suitable , something that behaves like pla and abs would be nice.
Something that is rigid , non brittle and has a little give.

Any thoughts ?

3W UV (405nm) LED actually cures the resin so fast that it generates smoke... I think it might be unhealthy ?

Btw is there any interest buying curingstations? Thinking about starting to make simple ones..
3D (FDM) printed enclosure, in total 12w 405nm LED, spinning plate and timer, active cooling of LEDs ofcourse. Im thinking price would be around 100usd +shipping for a timer one and around 50 for a simple wallplug and switch.

Hola a todos.
He realizado el test de exposición y no sé bien cómo interpretarlo. La resina es Esun standar gris. Os agradecería me ayudarais. Me pasaron configuración de 13 segundos por capa de 0.05 pero me sale la pieza muy engrosada. La impresora es la Photon S.
Saludossss
