Hey All, hope your prints are all going well. I've started to notice my machine squeaking and realise I need to relubricate my z-screw. What is best to use, what have you all used with success? Where do you get it from and are there any tips, advice and/or proper procedure for application. Many thanks in advance

Hello all, I got problem with my latest print using photon, it never happened before, it only printed halfway but the screen show completed (without any error). I left the machine working overnight at my studio and this morning I got this result. Thanks :D

Hey everyone, I've updated to the bata firmware so I could use the anti-aliasing feature. Works great! But I've run out of Anycubic Resin and I'm now trying to run the resin test to get my Peopoly resins dialed in. But I just get a blank test no matter what test file I run, slow, normal, doesn't mater. Do I need to down grade my firmware to run the resin test now? If so, doe I just run the 4.2.14 firmware files and it backs out the upgrade? Just making sure this is the way to go to get the tests working again before I mess up my machine

Edit: I am running the test mode file before running the print file

I’m curious if anyone has slowly changed the resin concentration in the vat mid print to gradually become more flexible, or maybe introduce a color gradient. Pause the print, Add a bit of new material, stir, resume for X layers, repeat.

Resin printing is new and fascinating to me and I absolutely love this machine

Dear Group,
I have purchased a photon, and have spent some time reading your posts and collating a kit (it has pretty much everything you guys have suggested in it).
I plan to get setup and running over the weekend. I have an FDM printer and laser cutter and so have some experience with machine preparation and patience...
I have watched YouTube photon specific vids you have linked on film tension, plate levelling and gap setting. I have found them helpful and informative. (Tension setting with a bottle lid sounds crazy until you see it)

I'm ready. (Famous last words).

So;
Does my screen need to resonate at 350hz?
Do you have any general tips or things to look out for when setting up and for my first print?
Do you think I should dive in and start with the cube or run some exposure tests first?

SQT. Tried printing with a new resin (PrimaCreator Grey). Got nothing to stick to the plate. But there are some stuff on the FEP ofcourse. What could cause this? I got 5 layers with 90sec burn and 16sec cure if that helps.
