When I first power on my machine, it starts up but when the fan kicks in it sounds like something is stuck in it and is making a flapping noise. A minute later the sound stops till the machine is off for a while. Should I be worried?

Had an odd hiccup, machine ran fine but printed nothing, screen wasn’t lighting up thought it died. And the files were loading slow and glitchy
I had a lot of files on the drive so I moved them all off the drive and reformatted it then put the file I was printing back on and it printed fine ???

So this wasnt a completely failed print only one blade failed but there was a substantial loss of detail compared to other models I did in the stock green the machine came with. This is my first time using the Anycubic Grey resin. What do I need to adjust to get better detail like the slicer shows? The angle of the model in slicer was different and had supports

*Update*
After some suggestions, I checked all internal cables and everything was fine. However, the front touchscreen has been flickering and dimming even going completely white for several months now. never really affected the printer until now. I believe the touchscreen may have died. Thanks everyone! I have contacted Anycubic support.

Question:
I haven't powered on my Photon in a while and when I turned it on in order to run a print, it doesn't seem to boot up. I see the z-axis limit switch light come on and hear/see the fan running but the front screen never kicks on and it makes no other signs of life.

I have done the following
1) unplugged the PSU from the machine.
2) unplugged the power from the PSU
3) tested PSU voltage(12.33v)
4) plugged into a different plug.

I don't think I have a different PSU to test with but all signs seem to point to it being fine.

Any other suggestions?

It’s a few days late but my Photon-S is now here!! I can’t wait to get started printing! I’ve had FDM machines for a long time but this will be my first resin printer! Can’t wait to see the improvements...

**Purchased this from Amazon UK.. Spoke to Anycubic to confirm it was genuine and they said yes now available in black. So as far as I can tell it’s legit. (Link in comments)

I've been hesitant to bother you guys seeing as I can sculpt in the affected area with some aves, but it's bugging me as to what is causing this flat undefined area. This is the 5th print since buying the machine that this has happened to. It's only ever one area and never the same spot. Is it a lack of supports in that area?

First couple prints on the Photon and I am loving this machine. I made a mount for a 5.5VDC power supply, a mount for Arduino Nano and some laser diode mounts. Many more to come I am sure. This group is great :D Peace -
