# Harzlabs Model Grey - 50um layers - 8s/layer - Photon Classic

Amazing precision across the build plate (but in my experience stay away from the outmost squares, especially if you're not printing directly on the printer bed i.e. using supports).

For my first aligner cases I went with 11s/layer (13-17s/layers recommended by Harz labs), which worked flawlessly. But who wants a print that's 0,5%-1% off when you can achieve a near perfect print across the majority of the printer bed? ? ? ?

My last 2 prints, i used the HARZ labs resin, very nice results and details!

Seen an online Add from AmeraLabs resin, pretty sweet price. Any experience? I only print miniatures and very high Detail stuff, is it the way to go? Or stay with Phrozen resin?

Well I think I may have found my issue. Had a rough day yesterday, after 3hrs I noticed absolutely nothing was on the plate.. drained and peeled off the fep, tried a different file started out good but started to lift at the corners after a few hours. So I cancelled and re leveled the plate. Tried again. Same thing. Assumed it was the file so I tried the file that didn't stick again, all was good but woke up to the part missing and just supports :/ so clearly there's a problem lol.

At work I thought it might be the fep tension, it seemed odd to have all theses issues all of a sudden and seemed easy to pop that fail off than I did when I first got my printer months ago.

Got home drained the vat and yup sure enough the screws were all loose and the tone was only 158khz. Tightened up a full turn each and got to 312khz. Wish me luck lol also I'm fresh out of ideas if this isn't the problem lol

Hi guys! For those who have used ameralabs resin, what do you think of the smell, comparing with anycubic for example? overall opinion as I know it is a bit relative.

I have a slicing question, I pretty much use ChiTuBox exclusively but notice that when I slice the AmeraLabs Town Calibration test I lose detail compared to when I slice it using Photon Workshop. At layer 297 both slicers look pretty much identical, but then at 298 things are very different. ChiTuBox only displays 3 rows of the little nubs on top of the tallest building where Photon Workshop display them all. Does anybody have any idea how to get ChiTuBox to slice the STL like it should? I have tried reducing the layer size but it did not change anything. I am attaching pictures of layer 297 and 298 in both ChiTuBox and Photon Workshop.

I'm so blown away. Stock settings in chitubox haven't even tweaked anything yet and I'm getting prints like this. Absolutely amazed.

My crystal Fortress of Solitude! This is me using up what's left of the resin in the bottle because I don't know if it has a shelf life so I'm using it up on an earlier model of the International Space Station that I had started that has absolutely no detail to it yet this one I'll get around to in a few years after I get done with Skylab in the X20 and Gemini and and and and.

Hey all, I wanted to say that I absolutely love this printer and it has completely changed mini printing for me. I also wanted to show off my first print that's been painted by a commissioned painter.
This model was painted by Shon Alan Cornwell and I'm extremely happy with the result.
