Hey guys! x] Sorry I'm spamming so much! I promise this is my last post for a while, as I'll be silently working on another sculpture
:D
Yesterday I posted some fantasy skeleton wips and now I think it's finally finished! Just sculpting alone took me over a week of full-time work, but I'm pretty satisfied with the results x]
Here are a few more photos and some more info:
Everything was sculpted in Zbrush, the bigger skeletons are around 1/10 scale in size (11.5cm in height) and printed at 0.04mm layer thickness.
The small ones were printed at 60% scale at 0.02mm thickness.
Both black and grey are Ameralabs resin x]
I needed to use a lot of supports for all those hanging details, especially on ribcage - I think ribs is the only complicated part here. After a few tries I chose to print the torso on it's back, even though it's not the most comfortable orientation, but spine/back is the thickest and strongest part, so I wanted it to be printed first as I didn't want to break any ribs
:D
For supports I use Chitubox with something in-between light and medium supports, 90% of them I add manually one by one, then check everything in Photon File Validator and repeat again if something's wrong x]
Stls are not free, but are available here if anyone's interested in printing one yourself x]
