I guys I just saw that Vinicius Silva developed a heating system for the Photons, now how does the heat affect your print quality ? Can it make difference on your layers, smoother finish ?
Where’s live it’s always around 18/23 degrees so if this could improve I would jump in and build one .

Ok, how do you all get the bumps from the supports to go away smoother? Sometimes they come off good and barely leaves a mark, sometimes they do. I know i can sand it after, i was wondering if there’s a trick when i remove the supports

Salmon skin effect on prints? Thought that would have only been An issue on my FDM printers. Is this being cause from the z motor holding resonance? Would a TL smoother solve this?

I’ve got a odd question perhaps. I have a blue cast model but I want to make it smoother. It’s quite a big model and just sanding it is not giving me the results I’m looking for. Primer might help but has anyone used primer on blu cast before? Does it have a weird effect on the wax?

Hey everyone. New here and about to invest in a resin printer. Was eyeing the Anycubic Photon (S?) but i've been hearing and seeing Epax is quite a contender. I've done a bit of reading on older posts here and recognise it may be controversial discussing a competitor but at this time, which will yield a smoother print?

To give you a perspective of my intentions. I'm a 3D artist that's interested in printing my own 28mm-30mm miniatures like Warhammer 40k related stuff. The rough price comparison of 120 isn't a major concern. I should mention this will be my first 3D printer and I have 0 experience with any. All I know is I'm looking for quality and want to be able to get miniatures printed with as little layer lines or artifacts that may impact on the quality of the print.

2 months in & the fume extraction sorted, I’m finally getting something close to what I want. My stl file is a lot smoother than the print result. I’m using the standard Anycubic slicer. Have I got the settings wrong or do I need to use a different slicer?

Did someone allready test the Anycubic dental resin (castable and not castable) ? Is it possible to achieve a better and smoother finish with these two resins ? I checked the excel file where all resin and settings are listed but nothing about these two.

First time modeling with Sculptris by Pixologic.
After 8 hours i think its a keeper.
Nice and free program.
Maybe tomorrow it will go a bit smoother...
