I am so tired of this, I thought that leaving behind the impression of extrursion would free me from how difficult it is to achieve an impression, I have leveled many times, I have increased the layers below, I have increased the time, nothing seems to work, I do not know how they achieve Successful impressions, the worst of all is that almost half a liter of expensive resin is almost finished and I have not achieved anything at all

hi!, greetings from argentina, got my printer yesterday from aliexpress along with 5liters of resin. it's working beautifully out of the box, it's really amazing what these printers can make..

something interesting i tried and it worked. the rook is printed on anycubic aqua blue, the owl..it's the same resin but i added four drops of blue refill ink for permanent markers (on about 15ml of resin). that apparently works very well as a pigment for resins, and it's dirt cheap.

I don’t know what to think.

7 looks ok. But the details are soft. Literally wipe off with ipa. I think this is my resin problem too.

I went to Monocure3D, today, to pick up some Rapid Clear and Resinaway.

The people there are so polite & friendly, forthcoming with information - so much so, I ended up with a CMYK tint kit and some Platebond!

reallllly need some help. bought the printer last week, been trying it off/on and havnt got a SINGLE good print to finish. ive (changed the clear film, re-leveling my head several times, went through and ENTIRE bottle of grey resin with correct settings according to- https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhcOjE8…/edit… -, i just dont know whats wrong.)

my problem is every print the supports will begin to print and then when it gets to the Actual print it sticks to the film. ive tried several different models at different angles and done a literal weeks worth of research but no bite. im about to send this printer back after doing months of research and saving to finally buy the thing

Everyone, I would like to thank you for your efforts.

I have been using FDM printers for many years now (started on the Solidoodle 1) and I have poured my heart and soul into teaching others how to maintain and operate them for years at local schools.

I really hesitated to embrace the goo for a while. But when I stumbled on this community, I felt that if you all believed so much in this, then why was I hesitant? So, here I am, thanking each and every one of you.

So, I unpacked a few days ago, followed everyone's advice here and checked everything, leveled (which is so much easier than an FDM) and decided to skip the cube. I was thinking, "I'm a big boy, I've been doing this for years...I don't need to print the test cube, I want to print my minis."

Well, I am pleased to say that with your tips and tricks, I was successful. And I went ahead and purchased another liter of goo from Anycubic.

Thanks again everyone! You are the best, and keep it up.

Does IPA "obliterate" the resin? Or does it just help it not stick to surfaces. What material completely removes it from a surface so it's not toxic anymore, like on some metal.

I’ve been getting a lot of great prints, literally no issues or failed prints at 0.03 or higher, but i get this issue on half my prints when i do 0.01. Any ideas why?

I'm having problems with the printer reading *.photons files

I'm using USB stick supplied, formatted to fat32. The printer can read the firmware files no problem, but not *.photons files.

I've tried only one file on the USB, no special characters, very short filenames, different USB sticks, memory stick in on power up, inserting while powered on. My firmware is 3.4.1 and my UI is 2.6

Should I try and rollback the firmware to see if that helps. I'm computer literate and can't find a solution from the forums, any help would be appreciated

Just got a 1/2 liter of Elegoo Gray. Shook well, cleaned the vat out of the remaining scraps of Anycubic Green, consulted the sheet, upped the exposures on a test print to 10x100 seconds for the bottom layers, .25 layers, 18 sec exposure, 6.5 off time.

That's like 3 times what I was running for the Anycubic Green, and two failed short tests. Supports were fully formed, but spongy/brittle/and fell apart at the lightest touch. Platform was tough, but not really as hard as the norm I am used to with the Green.

Sounds like way under exposure, but I'm starting to get past the recommendations. Thoughts?
