So I know this subject is fairly well documented but I have a few other finer details I'm curious about.

Flexible resin. From what I gather monocure is the most popular option but I'm curious about how well it mixes with dye and elegoo clear, iv been using elegoo clear resin and adding alumilite dye with great results I just want something stronger with a bit of give for the hat pins I make. So is monocure the best option and has anyone mixed those 2 resins specifically and dyed it? what has been your experience so far?

Hi guys, I am curious as to what resin you all use, and which you find best?

Also curious if there are cheaper alternatives to the known brands?

I am using Prima value light grey, 1 liter costs €60 which I find a bit steep, or maybe it's a fair price? 1 liter doesn't last long, especially with bigger prints.

Got my Warg rider to print kind of. What causes the layer shift on this printer? Literally all the supports were way off and half the guys head did not print. It was definetly in the middle the bed was not over the edge.

Just installed the Photon S UV Matrix into my Photon! WOW, difference in definition of the print it so much better than I expected! Best reason to have a printer with LED Array!

In the picture you can see the 50um 2-20 test of Anycubic White resin, on left is with the standard UV led setup, on right is the LED Matrix. In the other pictures you can see how nicely the Matrix focuses the light and on the other one is the standard conical LED setup with the light diffused over the whole room.

Fitting the LED Matrix is tight but possible, extra parts that I literally needed was only to design and print the supports to hold it in place and needed 6 extra screws. Did only exposure tests so far but seems to be running well.

Minor issues I need to address:
-will need to redesign the LED supports as I needed to grind about 5 mm from the front ones because I could not close back the front panel as the LCD touch screen was hitting them.
-i kept the standard fan which cools down the array, It might be strong enough but the S has a bigger one so I might upgrade it.
-will need to get a better PSU, hear that the fans are slowing down when the UV light turns on.

Other thing is that it seems the UV Matrix is not working at it's full potential, the AC White and Black resin which I tested seems to have normal exposure time at 8sec on my installed UV Matrix, I've seen people mention on the S they cure the White at about 5.5 seconds. Can someone confirm this?
If true, then I belive the power might be limited by the PSU, I installed the LED Matrix together with it's control board, don't think I need then to change any resistance?

Last week I bought a liter of the Anycubic Green resin. Did everything the way I always do, shook the resin up well before putting it in. Since then I have not had a single print stick to the build plate. I releveled the bed but still nothing sticks. Sanded the bed, nothing. Could the resin be bad? It does look a little thinner that previous resins. The green is the only resin I have ever used so the settings should be good. Any ideas?

I received my Photon just this week and I have had a couple of really nice prints but the clean-up is easily the messiest thing I have ever done. More tissues being used than literally any other activity known to man, and I include 15 year old men in that. Am I being too fussy when I clean the build-plate every print and can anyone suggest a more streamlined method? I think scraping hardened resin off the kitchen sink is going to get old very fast.

Hi guys
I have a doubt about an stl file of a full body I have, I have opened it with meshmixer and I know I can just use the "plain cut" tool, but im trying to divide the file in pieces (head, legs, arms) to a better fit when they are printed, lite the square thingy that fits in a square hole in every piece (trying to explain my best haha) is there an easy way for doing this?
I would very much appreciate the help.

I can't get pieces to go together flat. I've literally tried hundreds of times. Is this something that just can't be done with resin?
