In the Anycubic slicer, for Anycubic resin, are the stock time settings ok?
0.05mm layers, 10s normal layer, 1s off time, 50s bottom layer, and 8 bottom layers.
Literally my first print...

Getting frustrated. I have had 2 good prints out of 30 tries. I have tried the Flint Read method of leveling. I have run it through the file validator and come up roses, but I can`t get a print to succeed. I have tried 3 models at once and one model at a time. Have tried same model at 45 degree angle, base to bed, medium supports, light supports, raft, no raft, literally everything.
I have all but used up the 500mL bottle of green that came with the printer, and at $80 CAD per liter, I am throwing money away. So far, it has cost me $40 for one owlbear.
My FEP has micro scratches on it from wiping with paper towel, but when directly on a surface, they are invisible. Is the FEP that fragile? If so, what else can I use to wipe it?
Any and all help would be appreciated.
I have attached my latest failure. Sliced with ChituBox 1.4, 64bit and validated with the Photon File Validator.

I'm interested in printing with Ferrolite. The helpful folks at Tethon3D indicated that some of their customers have had success printing on a Photon, but had to upgrade the light source ("projector").

My questions: How do I do that, and what wattage do I need to buy? I haven't found any data on this anywhere, though I did find a 50W upgrade UV panel for the Photon on sale.

More colors are now available in eSun Bioresin: https://epax3d.com/…/esun-3d-printer-bio-resin-for-lcd-3d-p…

This is the toughest solid color resin I have tested for LCD printers. I just ordered a few more liters.

I tried a print and literally got nothing out, not even resin stuck to the FEP. The slice file preview looked fine. I did the screen test thingy and got this, I also tried running a file with a part in it and the screen looked exactly the same as this. Any idea what's wrong?

Seen this Bluecast Resin online, why is it so expensive, and what benefits does it have over other resins 1/5th the price? They want $105 for 250ml or $179 for a half liter.

Brand new fep (factory sealed in vat) seems to keep failing on the same side (I switched from last print to make sure). To me that would mean it isn’t the build plate and isn’t the lcd. This print is as fine until about halfway when you can see it stuck to the fep and pulled the base layers off the build plate (usually when that happens in my experience it fails during the printing of the base plate) this is the first time I’ve had a print pull of halfway through and I have printed literally hundreds of these helmets. Could this just be a faulty fep? Perhaps too tight/loose? Maybe my exposure is too high? Again it’s hard to say but I’ve done prints this way for weeks with no fails. And also I releveled 3 times to make sure it is t levelling. It’s not the print that’s failing it’s just sticking too hard to fep. The helmets that stay on the build plate are on there pretty good. Any insight would be appreciated. I’m still learning but usually can trouble shoot these things pretty well

I think my new photon my have a problem...

I unpacked it last week and allready im out of resin....

Im starting to believe i should have started with more than 1,5 liters:P

Also.. my Photon infected all my previous prints (made with an old DaVinici machine) with "looks-like-shit"-disease.. So i cant print with the DaVinci machine anymore :(

On the bright side i might name my next child "Photon" :P

So I've got my first problem.

There are wierd layer lines that I cannot find any explanation for. I've been printing for about a liter perfectly. Mostly small minis but one or two medium size prints. All with no problems.

These are the largest prints I've done, the wing is the entire height of the print volume! But as you can see the base of the dragon, in the crystals, there are wierd layer artifacts.

I didn't know what the could be causing the layer issues so I though I'd print the wing go see if it would repeat the issue.

The wing is really odd, it has 4 or 5 "layer shifts" like the print head moved a bit. But it's a resin printer without a print head.

I wonder if hollowing the prints could have done something. I used a wall thickness of 1.2.
Normal layer height. One model was hollowed in Meshmixer, the dragon base. And I added a large cutout on the bottom to add supports for the crystal base.
The wing was hollowed in ChiTu box.

So far I've gotten a few suggestions which all could be contributing but nothing real definitive.

1. Bad power supply? The lifting seems to suck to the print bed so maybe it draws to much power. Don't know if this makes sense but a Reddit user said he fixed something similar with a voltage regulator. Anyone else?
2. Wobbly table? It's on a descent folding table but not the most sturdy. I don't know how this could affect the print quality.
3. Z screw binding? Maybe it just for stuck a few times. I would think this would cause other issues like the piece crashing into the build plate or something.
4. Temperature? I print in a small room. The first print, the dragon base, had a computer on and close the door so it could have gotten warm. Not the case with the wing, it printed overnight.
5. Z wobble. Pretty much ruled out as it isn't a consistent problem. At some point I might try to readjust the escentric nut but it's currently working so I'd rather not.

Thinks that about sums up where I'm at. Any tips or if someone has had a similar problem I'd love to know what you did.

Thanks for any suggestions! Really lost here.
