I've seen some ads for "Eco friendly" resins. I'm highly skeptical of any resin that claims to be eco friendly but is there anyone here who could perhaps expound on this or vogue for it's eco-friendliness? Of course it would be AMAZING to have resins without the inherent toxic properties we usually have to worry about.

Hi all, can anybody recommend me a paint brand on Amazon US?. I use a very cheap one but after paint I can see a lot of lines and need to make like 5 or 6 times more to get an even color.
Also maybe some YouTube videos of Technics

I mean...i printed around 100 files now and only the first 5 or so got stuck to the FEP and since i know how to level correctly it works like a charm..but hey improving every little bit is a good thing right? :-D 翻譯年糕

Hello all, new owner waiting on my machine to be delivered. Decided on the Photon per all the great reviews, and videos I saw on YouTube. I have some experience with the Form 2 and never really cared for it due to severe issues with printing (failed parts often, etc), but cannot wait to get my machine and get started.

Second print after the Anycubic cube.

It's Yuki Onna by Duncan Louca. I used 3DPrintingPro's excellent Youtube tutorials, but I think I still went too much overboard with the supports. I had to use a hobby knife to cut the supports off the base.

Printed with layer height of 0.04, the figure is 32mm scale. I printed two and sprayed one with grey primer. It's all an experiment. They turned out pretty decent. I hope that with thinner layers the details will come out better. I also think I should but some grey resin. :)

First print after the new machine....big failure

When it came out, it just had two kind of thin sticky areas on the FEP but no solid resin at all.
I tried this model;

I tightened the FEP per the youtube video and did my zero per the Flint Read method. I used the following settings and printed straight to the plate:

layer 0.05 Normal Exposure 10 Off Time 3 Bottom Exposure 70 Bottom Layers 10

and it really didn't look like it did anything. What am I missing? 翻譯年糕

Hi to everyone.
I own an Anycubic Photon with firmware 4.2.14 and, using Chitubox, I want to enable the AA feature. So online I fount this video from the Anycubic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_kkBO1jmZA&t=13s
but is about and older firmware not available anymore. Searching in this group I found that there are some trouble with the Anycubic Photon firmware 4.2.19 . Could anyone exmplain me which is the safest way to get the AA in my prints? Thank you. 翻譯年糕

I feel it necessary to give credit where credit is due. For all of the Problems I have had with my AnyCubic Photon, there support and willingness to "make it right" is perhaps the best I have ever encountered from a Company. The replacement Screen they sent me to replace the defective one in my new machine has a large scratch on the bottom of it. They are also going above and beyond and sending a replacement for that along with new FEP and a new bottle of Resin. Below is the Email reply I got from them after sending them a link to my YouTube video about the Bad Resin included with my new printer.

The green resin we sent you because of the different batches of suppliers, there are few cases that can not be printed successfully, this is our problem, we want to work hard to make up for it and reduce the damage caused to you.

From your description, the machine is working properly when you use other resins, so it is most likely due to resin problems，caused printing fail. In order to avoid unsuccessful printing of green resin, could you choose another color of resin and tell us that we will send you a new resin as soon as possible.

In addition, the new 2K screen has scratches, which may be caused by damage during factory loading or logistics. Please don't worry, we will re-issue a 2K screen and FEP film for you. Hope with the new resin and After the 2K screen is replaced, your machine will work perfectly.

Could you tell me your shipping address? We will send you new accessories and resins as soon as possible.

So I ordered a Photon this morning...

In getting ready for it's arrival, I am starting a checklist:

I have a ton of gloves/paper towels on hand and this will be sitting right next to a window for venting. I've ordered a UV light for curing.

I'll use the resin that comes with the printer initially then branch out to a new resin.

Questions I still have:

1. How to hollow solid prints to save resin
