So I have been having pretty flawless prints with using: AC Green and Maroon. Tried out the AC Black and had a failed print with the attached settings and items. Only 1 of the items (with supports) stuck to the bed...but then failed to complete a successful print. Is there any rule of thumb if when printing multiple items to increase/decrease any settings? Setting pulled from the Google Doc. Much thanks

Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling to get a good print so I wanted to share my issue and see if you have any suggestions.

I’m using the Anycubic white with the following settings in ChiTuBox.
Layer Height: 0.05mm
Bottom Layer Count: 12
Exposure Time: 8s
Bottom Exposure Time: 80s
Light-off Delay: 1s (I think this defaults it’s to 6.5s from what I read)
Bottom Light-off Delay: 1s (same as above)

From what I read on google and in this group, the plate test flat print not sticking properly means I need to level my build plate correctly and maybe bring it even lower on the Z. When I’m leveling it there is some resistance, however I could probably go a bit lower with lots of resistance to the paper.

The second issue I’ve had with 2 different attempts. There is a line in the print:
Picture of the print WITHOUT supports: it’s quite visible as it’s even made a gap.
Picture of the print WITH supports: a load of supports failed at the same time.
This issue I think was caused by me pausing the prints as that’s roughly where I paused them to check if it’s going well.

However the second issue might be not as bad once I fix the first problem. Currently I’m planning to try and lower the plate even more, then do another test with the same flat print in the pictures and video.

I’ll keep updating this until I get a good print out, thanks for reading!

UPDATE: Print successful. Issues were not properly leveled plate which was also not low enough and pausing during the print process. Settings in ChiTuBox were fine.

I installed the Chitobox slicer but there is no default Photon machine settings. Can someone direct me to a source for that? I just recieved my Photon and am wary of screwing things up. I've had an Ender 3 for about a year and get pretty good results now, but it was quite a journey. I recognize that i'm about to start a similar journey with the Photon. I've googled but i'm not sure i've found what i'm looking for. Thanks!

Any one have good resin settings for Anycubic Black resin? I've consulted the Google doc but the (only) suggested setting there didn't seem to work that well.

SOS

I'm a newbie to 3D printing so I don't know how to describe the problem I am having. I got my printer in December and my first several prints turned out well. Some layer lines which I thought at the time were normal but now am not sure about. About 4 weeks ago through I ended up with a big problem.

I am getting strips of resin running through my prints, I also always end up with extra hardened resin on the bottom of my vat. for the life of me I can not figure out why.

Here are the things I've done so far to try and fix this.
1) I use the guide here for my resin times https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhcOjE8…/edit…
2) I have further increased the exposure times to make sure no bits are flaking off
3) used 2 different USB sticks
4) I have reformatted both USB sticks
5) I have run a 3 minute LCD exposure test without seeing any flickering
6) I have tried 6 different prints
7) From 4 different sources (Tinkercad, HeroForge, Thingiverse, Fusion 360)
8) Using 4 different Anycubic brand resins (Grey, Skin, Orange, Yello)
9) I have used 2 different slicers (any cubic stock and Chitubox)
10) I have releveled the thing more times than I can count
11) I have cleaned the vat multiple times
12) I have replaced the FEP Film
13) I have checked all of the internal connectors to make sure they are secure
14) I have posted on Reddit and another facebook forum an been told that it might be my UV lamp but all the testing that I've done following their instructions my printer has passed with no issue.
15) I have been told I should watch my prints but I can't see them since the build plate is in the way.
16) I have printed them 90 degrees vertically and 45 degree tilt same situation both times. I have not been able to successfully do a 90 degree horizontal print as the dials always fall of o their supports even when i add about double the auto generated supports.

Support is out for New Years and I am at a total loss for how to do things any better than I am. The prints I'm attaching photos of are not complex prints they are essentially 3 cylinders.

Help would be greatly appreciated

I tried the settings for the Anycubic black resin in the google doc. I didn’t have any luck. The raft stuck to plate but the base didn’t stick to the supports. Any ideas?

The fruits of today's labor...
A lil uv curing oven controllable(ish) with Google home.
Will let yall know how it does :)

Please find below a wishlist containing all of the parts needed.
This build assumes you have a soldering iron and a hot air gun.
The smart plug can be a little bit tricky to get working with dual band routers. Just temporily disable 5g broadcast, delete the network from your setup device history, connect and re-enable and you'll be golden.
Only seems to be able to turn off through google voice command, i'm told alexa is better but you can build perfectly good routines with the manufacturers application.

I'm new and I have maybe a dumb question. I have a fantasy model STL that doesn't have a base. Can I add a round base as part of setting the chitu box slicer and support settings, or do these kind of STLs need to be edited in some other software first? My google fu failed when I tried to search for this. Thanks!
