Hi Everyone. Took Delivery of a Photon on the weekend, coming from the world of PLA, the quality on this thing is mind blowing.
My first print with the turquoise resin was awesome. I did a second print using the grey resin that came with it, and it was a little disappointing.
Full disclosure, I couldn't get hold of isopropyl alcohol, so I used what showed as the closest thing on Google which was Boots Sterilising liquid. It was fine on the first print, but the second print looks like it has pitting in a few spots on the surface. I didn't notice if it was there before I cleaned the print, so now I'm at a loss as to whether it came off the printer like it, or if the cleaning solution I used caused it.
Generally, what causes pitting in resin prints? Do I have to really, REALLY, shake the resin before I fill the bath, or is a gentle shake enough?
