Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團 » g code

Got the wifi fully working to run gcode commands on the printer. Working on the web server right now that will be fully integrated into the my photon. HTML is not my strongest language, but I'm working on it. Final goal will be to have a usb camera on board to have a live feed of the print/ failed print. What things would you want to see integrated into a photon web server?

As i am pretty noob with GCODES, i need your assistance.

I am looking for the GCODE to enter in Chitubox to disable to fan next to the vat.

Is there a way to add gcode to the photon file?

I want to make a break at a defined layer and then print on.

Any hint would be great.

Again Anycubic Amy Liao and warning for all new photon users with the upgrade Photon printer (PTB2BK Fauxton)
The carriage get stuck and hit into the top. I raised a ticket today for fix that. The reason? because remember the upgraded photon come with the new photonS main board and that printer has different height. Temporal solution you can remove the blue plate in the top but if you leave like that your stepper driver will get burn. I tried to modify the height value with a gcode file but remember this new mainboard cannot read these type of files. So when you receive your ned photon printer you need to remove the top blue plate in the printer until Anycubic send a new solution or firmware upgrade only just for new upgrade photon printers. Very Smart Anycubic you're disaster. ? https://youtu.be/Pry1cGqwQ_I In the video I powered off before to get stuck because I don't want to burn the stepper driver and the motor sounds forced. It's alive! Aliiiiive!!!

At last I've finished my old KLD YHD-101 upgrade. Well, more than an upgrade as only the metal frame remains from the original.

The beast is made out of:

- KLD YHD-101: metal frame

- Wanhao D7: upgrade kit (Z axis)

- Anycubic Photon: motherboard

- Epax X1-DJ: LED array.

+ adding USB port, Omron optical sensor, front touch screen and side fan (was supposed to be inside the printer, but I had to move it outside because of the huge led array), and modify the Gcode to enhance the Z height up to 17cm.

Adding to than I've made an upgrade to the D7 platform because I was bored to remove resin from the flat top each time.

Now it's time to print ;)

Greetings,

While I understand most of the information available on photonsters is geared towards the original Photon, and for good reason, I own an S and after a few test prints I have some doubts about what could be the optimal work process to get the best of my prints.

While using Photon Workshop 2.1.19 I notice that, if I change the machine from the S to the original Photon, I see that the final calculated times to print change noticeably. About 10-20% slower with the .photon file against the .photons file. Are these differences in calculations accurate? Does any real difference exist if I use one kind of file over the other with the S? I know there are a lot of utilities that need the .photon and that makes it more interesting, I mean about straight printing differences between formats.

To my understanding, Chitubox is a more desiderable alternative. Is the machine configuration for chitubox for the S the same as for the original Photon? 1440 x 2560 px, 68.04 X, 120.96 Y, 150 Z, LCD Mirror?

I've seen the exposure calibration set is not working on the S as you cannot currently execute the gcode file on it. Any recommendation on how to fine-tune the exposure times beyond the city test print? I can tell apart if the piece is underexposed fine enough, but I struggle with overexposure. I even think that in the documentation the overexposed print looks better

Thank you very much

I need advice here folks. So the specifics.

Original Photon with Yellow sides. System Photon 5.5, Version, V4.0.11_LCD Known good SanDisk USB Stick.

1. Resently installed Jackson products Z-Axis upgrade.

2. Printer resently had start of print isssue where the Z Axis would not move after first layer exposure then (2 beeps) heard at this point, no Stepper Motor noise or activity present. Quick reboot and restart of print caused file to then print normally.

3. Printer was printing fine yesterday with the occasional (no Z Axis movement) as noted above.

4. Printer Z axis was working normally prior to next entry "No.5".

5. Today I ran the XP Resin exposure test print. Turned on, "printed or run" (test-mode.gcode) then proceeded to print the (resin-test-50u.B100.2-20.photon).

6. Printer only produced the properly sized rectangle 0.24mm thick but with no exposure details present. No Z axis movement during print but I think that is normal for this XP Resin exposure test. Printed the (Run print-mode.gcode) to reset printer to normal operation.

7. Suspected possible corrupt file?, re-download new copys and rerun print as above, Same results.

8. Attempted to Move Z Axis up Via the touch screen, Loud Z Axis vibrating noise heard and felt. Stopped after about 5 seconds or so, tryed Z up again, Same results.

9. Turned off printer, manually turned Lead Screw, turned easily with no binding, felt normal.

10. Restarted Printer after removing both the Build Plate and Vat. Printed (Run print-mode.gcode) as I suppected that could have cause an issue, Attempted Z Axis move and same result, Load noise vibrating but no movement.

11. Took apart printer to troubleshoot, Tested Stepper Motor as Per AnyCubic instructions, both pins 1-3 and 4-6 test good. Tested connector cable for continuity, all connections test good.

P.S. Stepper Motor Lead Screw turns freely by hand with no indication of a bearing or internal motor failure issue.

See video for exact behavior.

Thank You.

Well I've had my printer for a grand total of 2 days with ZERO successful prints and now the Z-axis has stopped moving. See the video I have attached to hear the deep humming noise when the z-axis is trying to move. I have read a tonne of comments on this page. The following are the things I have already tried: Open a ticket with Anycubic support, lol Updated firmware from 4.2.17 to 4.2.18 Ran Factory Defaults GCode (in case of EEPROM problems) Disassembled the printer to make sure no loose connections on motherboard Does anyone have any other helpful advice I can try. Was really looking forward to being an active part of this group but am now wishing I never bought this printer at all.
Thanks in advance. 翻譯年糕

Just a reminder to run the print-mode.gcode file after you are done your resin calibration tests. I have been running myself up a wall wondering why my prints were failing only to realize that the test-mode.gcode file was still active. Happy printing.
