We don't have Mean Green in Singapore and IPA is getting expensive and hard to buy due the CoVid-2019 virus situation.
So I am trying out alternative cleaning agent for 3D resin print.
First try. Resin - MicroMake Water washable Resin. Method - Ultrasonic Cleaner. Cleaner - Mr. Muscle Multi Purpose Cleaner - SGD$4.90 (USD$3+) from local stores in Singapore. I mixed 1/2 cap to 0.6L of water, ran the print in the solution for 3 min, rinse and ran it another 3 min and rinse with clean water. Part came out cloudy but much better than IPA, water alone, methylated spirit.
note - Water alone wasn't working for me even though this is advertised as a water washable resin, washing it in plain water leaves a thin film that peels and fakes after curing. This is solution is so cheap and safer than IPA. But IPA is still needed for wiping and removing resin on the work area.
disclaimer - this is just my personal experience and tests, your leverage might differ. Feel free to share you methods.

Requesting some input! The problem: Anycubic Skin refuses to adhere to the buildplate. It just gets cured to the bottom of the vat on the FEP. Dragon Resin Grey is adhering and printing successfully without issue. Anycubic Skin will not, regardless of exposure settings. Troubleshooting: - FEP was replaced several prints ago - prints remained successful afterwards when printing in Grey resin. - I have tried several different exposure settings and 2 different objects. Skin Always fails. - I have re-leveled the build plate. - Printed the same test objects, using my Dragon Resin (Grey), with success The Grey adheres to the print bed without issue. The Anycubic Skin does not. -Temperature of the room is maintained using a space heater between 60-75 degrees - Resin is stored in a comfortable indoor temperature (72 degrees) - Resin is always shaken before pouring Test Object: - Test object is a flat disk-like pendant that is printed flat against the build plate. this test object has printed successfully numerous times in two other types of resin. - I have also printed other objects with success in grey, that skin fails. I have yet to have a single successful print in Skin. My thoughts: > I do not think this is a leveling issue. > My only conclusion is, do I have a bad bottle of resin? > Anycubic Skin was purchased via Amazon > Anycubic Skin has a lot of bubbles after shaking, but it's less viscous than Dragon Resin so it may not indicate any problem but I'll mention it anyways. Successful Grey print settings (A little overexposed but at least it adhered)but Trying the same in Skin yielded no success. Normal Exposure: 15sec Offtime: 7 sec Base Exposure: 70sec Base Layers: 8 Failed Skin settings: Normal Exposure: 5sec Offtime: 2sec Base Exposure: 50sec Base Layers: 8sec

Yesterday I've posted pictures sculpted Gerat of Rivia printed on my Photon. Some of You was interested in buying STL's of him. So - here it goes :)
What do you get for $15:
- Geralt of Rivia bust in STL files in about 1/9 scale (default size is 9cm from top to bottom, you can of course resize it as you want)
- pdf with info and manual
- three options of printing hair with head (all merged, lower part of hair separated, lower hair part divided to 3 parts - all explained in manual)
- two options of printing shoulder pads (explained in manual)
zipped archive is about 55MB

Sorry, no photos... newly assembled Photon, test print lattice cube failed. Leveled the build plate per AC instructions, shook my resin (the included green), filled the vat to the line. It appears that several layers cooked properly, and then it lost adhesion to the plate & stuck to the FEP instead. Of course, I couldn't see that until it was around the 45-50% mark, so phooey. (I did NOT yet swap the AC USB stick for my own, as I forgot to purchase a spare, and I am uncharacteristically out of spare cards/USB sticks.)
It did print the base/disc to a thickness of close to 1mm before failing, then I ended up with a nice 2-D version of the cube lattice branching out from that.
I re-leveled the bed according to this video, only slightly altered from AC's official instructions. Currently trying the test print lattice cube again
So... if this fails in a similar manner, should I try the Flint Read method, or are there other common n00blet errors of which I may be guilty and should check out?

EDIT: Thanks everyone! The Anycubic resin I typically get won't ship to Japan via Amazon.com , but the Nova3D resin will ship to my FPO address, with Prime Shipping too! ------------------ I Just moved to Japan from the US. Anyone have any advice or recommendations on where/how to get resin for my printer? I'm still learning the methods/issues with ordering things here. Local recommendations would be great if you know where I can buy locally! Thanks in advance!
