Advice please.

I'm not fully educated on this subject, bare with me.

I think I understand that there is no need to have the printer connected to a PC. But is that possible, and what would be any pros or cons of doing so?

hola amigos, anteriormente logre imprimir esta misma figura y salio bien en la resina roja, ahora los soportes salieron cortados y faltan pedazos de mi impresión, la misma calidad en los detalles ha disminuido, algun consejo sobre los tiempos de exposición o cual sera el problema? no se si es mi percepción o mi resina esta un poco mas espesa, ayuda porfavor ?

Thanks Vinicius Silva for the Pixel Perfect Light Diffusion Test!

Always wanted to see how equally the light is diffused on my Photon, printed the file and I could already see visually that something is wrong with one of the corners (see 1st pic), what could cause this?

I though it might be leveling but then I pun a straight plain over the print and seen that that particular corner is more curved.
Edit: corner was eventually leveling issue, paper leveling was not precise enough so re-leveled with 4pcs of paper in each corner which solved the corner issue.

But beside this I could see all over the print a curvature which seems to coincide with the distance from the UV light source. I think this shows that the intensity of light is not as strong on the corners as it it in the middle to build the smaller pixels from the top of the piramides from within the file.

If someone could do this test on the Photon, Epax, Photon-S or other printers to see the difference would be nice!

I downloaded chitubox work great but now when I add the file to the memory stick it look great and open great on the pc but I plug it into the machine and is just a fuzz pic and says file error
Also getting so weird issues with photon slicer add or subtracting stuff that the pc shows. I was thinking maybe I have to many file on the stick? Should I only keep the file I’m printing on it ??

Help friends, trying to help a buddy out and print something for him and having some issues. Believe he generated the supports using meshmixer (he has a photon but down currently so is familiar with stuff) but when I slice the file it’s dropping part of raft below the 0 level and it doesn’t appear at level 0 and the print will fail. How do you fix this issue? I’m slicing using stock slicer as the chitubox one is not liking my pc, will try and re download it tonight if it would be better.

Good evening, everyone.
I am new in the field of 3D printing. My children are considering giving me an anycubic photon printer for my next birthday so I'm starting to get some serious information.
So I installed the Slicer from Anycubic on my PC (win 7 64 bit) but it doesn't work because as I could read it doesn't work with integrated intel HD graphics. I tried to disable it to use only the other Radeon 7690 M XT graphics card but nothing to do. So I'm pretty doubtful about this printer purchase? Do you have any suggestions?

Then I saw that Anycubic now has two printers: the "standard" photon and the "S" photon. I didn't understand much about the differences. To start in the area you suggest?

My main use for this printer is train modeling.

So with some help from the group I have been able to get my photon S setup and running. Part firmware and mostly me being daft!

The firmware for the Photon S is linked here- http://www.anycubic3d.com/support.html

The software is also important! If you use either the photon (not S) firmware, software or slicer files IT WONT WORK.

You need to use the specific slicer program for the Photon “S” on your pc for the slicer files to read on the printer, if you use the photon (not S model) program the files won’t be seen!

If you need any help I’m not a wiz but between myself and a couple guys in here I’ve got it printing atleast ?
