Righto, So I replaced my LCD today, checked with UV detection, ran a test print, all good, ran a print of 4 jeeps, printed a few of the layers of the test print (which is on a different stick) over and over again. Now when I use the UV detection in the tools section I get an image of the layer from the test print. Any thoughts?

Hi guys!

I have been trying to paste some pieces with krazy glue and also with liquid resin and UV curing it but they still split after some accidental contacts, is there a good glue or way you have found to blend with cured resin very well?

Thank you in advance!

Just completed my first Photon S print today. I think I may have cured it too long and too close to the 20 watt UV lamp. The Photon cube looks fine, but developed white splotches after the cure.

I read on the Wiki that AA is not available for Photon S which explains why it's not an option in the included slicer software. Anyone have an idea when this feature will be released?

I was also wondering how long does the vat FEP last? I believe the Wiki says that there is no need to replace it unless it becomes foggy or really scratched up. Last thing I'd like to see is a tear and resin flooding.

Is it also safe to assume that any SLA resin designed for 405 nm should work? Are there problems with different colors?

Sorry for the many questions.. I just hate learning by the school of hard knocks... TIA

Hey crew, is alcohol the only counter chemical for resin? I ask this as some was spilt on pavers infront of my home from garage collection and has set from UV rays leaving a horrible red stain.

When combining multiple resin parts, do you use some form of adhesive? If so what kind? Or do you use more resin and the cure with a uv light? If so do you use a flashlight or a curing station? What kind of flashlight? Printing my first multipart print and looking for suggestions on ways to adhere the parts together

Still trying to wrap my head around part orientation & supports. In FDM world, I'd clearly print all of these parts with their largest flat surfaces on the bed, little or no support needed. (It's my remix, so those are actually my original FDM print photos) Suggestions & why you'd do it the way you suggest?

Also, if I print the main body in clear resin & cure in a UV chamber, is it OK to make it solid to keep some weight in it? I know it's a lot of resin, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make in this case. (Letters will be AC Maroon)

Thanks in advance for any advice & wisdom...

Hi. Please help a little.
I print test pattern ( https://github.com/altLab/photon-resin-calibration ) with Photocentric flexible resin ( https://photocentricgroup.com/uv-lcd-resin/ ). In center of print printing leaves very odd area, with no image at all (Gray print).
Also I test Wanhao STD Yellow resin, and there was none that kind of "spot". It works normally (Yellow print).
Any idea what was happening? 翻譯年糕

Finally got my homemade UV curing station set up. Plastic bucket lined with tin foil and eBay bought LED lights. How long does this process normally take to post cure your prints? I’ve always just chucked my minis outside in the sun (clouds stupid Australia) for the day.

Do small thin parts still need post-curing under UV? Or is the curing during printing enough?

I made a curing station using the packaging from the Anycubic Photon, hot glue, aluminum foil, and a UV light I got from amazon for $35.
