Is there a way to fill a miniature with meshmixer or other program? I found a cool looking mini for dnd but it was hollow

Hello chaps! Any idea if just adding a single hole to a small mini is enough? It's not really for saving resin, it's just to add a little flight base peg (2mm wide 4mm tall). Seemed easier then exporting the supported STL and using Meshmixer for example to add a hole. Hope that makes sense! Thanks.

I feel really dumb.

When I first started printing, 2 programs were suggested to me. Meshmixer and b9create. I use b9 to support everything I’ve ever printed and I swear by it. That being said, it’s a little outdated. (I want sphere contacts dammit!) I looked it up and yes... sure enough...

B9creator has been discontinued.

I was bummed for months when I learned that my program of choice isn’t going to ever be updated.

Well guess what I learned?

B9 is a fucking company that makes printers. B9creator isn’t their main program, it’s ONE OF THIER PRINTERS.

B9create is their flagship program. Just downloaded and my god is it night and DAY.

I tried formlabs and it didn’t workout for me. I constantly try chitubox and I can’t get it to work, but B9 is home.

I have an obj file that I paid for, and I am looking for someone to slice it. I have printed the file and it prints perfectly, but I need to be able to make it much larger. I haven't figured it out how to do it in Meshmixer and I am running out of time..I will pay you to do it for me! Is anyone interested? Thanks!

So, I have been watching and reading foe a while now. With the latest sale I bit the bullet and purchased a Photon, it arrives today. I’m looking forward to seeing what this printer can do!

My first question - I have downloaded the AnyCubic slicer and ChiTuBox. The ChiTuBox has a lot more options, so is it the better slicer?

Second - I will be printing 1:64 scale figures and I see that most prints are at an angle. What is the preferred angle? (30, 45 degree or other)

Third - supports, for FDM I use Meshmixer. Should I continue with Meshmixer or use the support generator in ChiTuBox?

Thanks in advance for helping make make my first Photon printing experience successfull!

Hey all I’m Experienced FDM printing with my Prusa MK3 i3 with PrusaSlicer and some times use meshmixer and rarely use Cura.

I know there is a Photon branded slicer but which is best for the anycubic photon unit? I apologise if it’s been asked many times already but couldn’t find a post.

Looking for freeware like Cura if you have other recommendations.

Struggling with getting supports for these beautiful beasts https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3342329 I have tried it in chitubox and meshmixer. Does anyone have suggested auto support settings for either of those that I can try. I am tilting them at about 45 degrees on their back but maybe I should try straight up and down?
