Question and an Observation all in one. First the question.

I'm printing some small parts to restore die cast cars (Windshields, wheels, etc.). Everything was going fine but near the end parts just never stuck. Tires aren't there at all and only the base of the windshield is there, the important part is missing.... I'm using Monocure rapid clear. 8 bottom layers at 65.5, and upper layers are .025 thick and 9.7 in time. For the windshields, I think I see an area that would benefit form added support. Also, what is there seems very thin.

Finally, since it was a print fail I tried curing without washing as I heard it added clarity to the clear resin. How's this for clear?

Anyone did stupid shit with their resin printer went starting out? I may or may not have used to funnel filters with no funnel, and wondered why the resin kept leaking out the filter xD

Hey guys, I've recently got a Photon and am trying to print some minis, but I don't seem to be able to achieve the same amount of detail I see a lot of people getting - the faces seem kind of melted lol. I angle them back about 30 degrees. I'm using Monocure Rapid Grey, with a bit of Monocure Flex in as well, with settings of Layer: 0.05 and Exposure: 20 secs - do I need to increase these settings more?

Left my new photonS, right my original photon. I tried the exact same settings on both - .03 layer height, 10 seconds exposure, 10 bottom layers at 100 seconds and using Monocure rapid grey. No problems with sticking to the plate but 10 seconds is definitely too long for the PhotonS! Trying again at 7 seconds! ?

Probably a stupid question aboit chitubox but Google wont tell me and stuffed if i can work it out ?‍♂️

Playing with Monocure Rapid Clear. Not too shabby for first try. Also airbrushed Vallejo Gloss Varnish on the spell effect models.
The rats are tests with different varnishes. The right rat has not been varnished (my control). The second to the right has vallejo matte varnish, the third from the right has vallejo satin varnish, and the forth from the right has vallejo gloss varnish. You can see a subtle progression from none to gloss.
