It's during prints like these that I'm glad the photon is in my life. 35 pieces of Tiny Trex keychains, printed with monocure rapid blue. Would've taken ages to print not to mention post processing on an fdm..!

Spent about 140ml of resin, took 6 hours x 5 runs to get them all printed. 7 copies per run.

A VAT holder I modified with added legs to aid in draining the resin.

I printed this with my FDM i3 printer with no supports at
about 15% infill.

Just got my photon yesterday and will be setting it up soon, I've never done resin printing but have done quite a bit of research.

Is there something like a temp tower for FDM but a test file for exposure times for different resins?

Added PLA, ABS, and PETG to the torsion tests.

Hint - PLA and ABS beat almost all resins. PETG is strong but too soft for this test. Only one resin was stronger than FDM on this test.

Now that I have a SLA printer now, and will always use it for anything small and with detail, it makes me think that I should put a 1mm nozzle on my FDM and it will print 6x faster. Then I can use it for what it will be good for - large objects that don't fit the SLA.

So anybody that has done lithophanes please chime in here. Will this print ok this way? I have done many on my FDM but this is a different animal. Will be using Monocure as i have the numbers on it through trial and error.

Working on it for 1 month now almost ready to be used to store my 2 fdm machines and photon ☺️
There will be added a vent and a heater to always have the same temperature.
Behind the smaller doors there will the filament and resin for storage... dehumidifier will take control off the water inside the air for the filament
