Sup everyone. I have two questions regarding cleanup. How long can the resin sit in the VAT after a print? If its sits too long does it make it harder to clean up? I'm assuming yes but want to make sure. Bleach can be used to clean containers and tools afterward right? Not the actual print, just the tools. I don't see why it would be a problem but haven't seen any videos on anyone using that and it's much cheaper than Iso alcohol

Morning everyone. SO my 60w UV curing light is not coming till Friday now :( . Only thing i can find in a local store is this little 9v flashlight. Its so cloudy and cold where i live that leaving in sun is not working well. You think this little flashlight would help till i get my actually light? I watched a video one time when i started researching this and i thought i remember it saying something about being a certain power.

What slicing software you all use? I have only been printing on Photon S for 2 days now but have been using ChiTuBox for supports and then G-coding it with the Anycube Slicer software. For some reason when i did the G-code on ChiuTuBox; it failed. Love ChiTuBox supports though

First printed miniature in my Photon S. Came out great! I don’t know what I’m more impressed with . The quality of the prints or the simplicity of getting this thing up and running. I literally pulled it out of box, tightened 2 screws . Leveled bed in 5 min and was printing .

Took me 17 hours to build my Prusa Mk3s.

Another question: I leveled the bed to best of my knowledge. After I was done leveling with paper I clicked back and clicked z:offset and clicked enter to save.

When I hit home ; it still hovers slightly above plate. That’s supposed to be like that right? The Z offset is just adjusting difference in height?

So I was gonna go with a regular photon but just seen their Blck Friday deal of photon S for 359 and comes with 500ml of resin and 2 sheets. Seeems pretty damn god deal. Amazon sells the photon S for 459

so when i first joined this group a few weeks ago there was a article on how the new Photons are using cheaper parts and they not as good as they were before a certain model. That if you order today and get one with a firmware version of like 1.31 or something (not sure exact firmware version) that its not as good as the older ones. Any truth to that? Anyone bought one recently and having issues?
