Interesting.. I already knew this was a factor but not that pronounced.

If you print items that are flat and parallel to the bed, it will always warp a little bit, unless you have no supports and it is flat to the bed.

if you have the slightest angle then everything comes out perfectly flat.

I am sure you know this, but I just wanted to let others know in case they are trying something similar .

Finally decided to use some of the green resin that came with the printer after being stored for a long time.

Did a fairly large print and am happy with results.

Anyone have to replace the screen yet?

I have printed some 300 prints now and everything still looks great.

Ok. I have had my Photon since June 6. I have left my vat filled and just top it up from time to time as needed. I have only used the monocure rapid clear.

I have NEVER drained it.. My prints have been rock solid 100% reliable. No sanding of the build plate just stock.

I do re-level the plate from time to time as I sometimes remove the build plate to remove the printed item.

I have printed at least 50 times now. almost all the time in the same center position.

My prints are still awesome and no sign of degraded quality or resolution.

I keep my printer on the counter in the washroom in the basement so it never sees daylight and I turn the fan on to deal with any smells from the resin (monocure definatley smells a lot less than the one that came with my SparkMaker (dont get me started on that POS)

This is working great for me. Does anyone else do this too ? or am I in the Minority.

question people.

my printer has been printing flawlessly since day one.

recently I am seeing something weird but it looks to me fine.

when it cures a layer and lifts from the fep it seems like it makes a popping noise and I can see the model actually jerk a bit. it goes right back into position fine for the next layer. this continues for the whole print.
its looks like it is overcoming the force needed to pull the part off the fep each time.

does this mean It is time to change the fep? I have printed about 25 items so far. all starting from center area.

fep is still clear.

models looks awesome when done.

Hello, I need some guidance.

I have jeweler designs I have created that I can print with the castable resins.

I would like to know what all equipment and parts needed to be able to create a burnout mold, and then use it to create silver and gold pieces.
