Here are a couple of prints I made of sword and board guard. The first print the bottom of the sword failed to print and the shield failed in some fashion. The next print I used a bunch of supports probably a few too many but good results. The first print I lowered the exposure time. Raised it to 8 seconds on the good attempt.
Does this figure really need supports or was the failure from low exposure? If supports are needed how many and where. I was thinking about cutting back to one or two on the shield and maybe one on the pommel of the sword? I failed to save the slice with the supports I used. Can you convert a photon file back to stl?
Do you normally remove the supports prior to final curing?
I have been printing with the base of the mini on the plate. If I choose auto supports the program wants to add a bunch of supports under the base is there a way to avoid that?
Thanks for the help!
