Did I buy the wrong screen replacement for my original photon? I am trying to update my photon to use the epax firmware, I have put the .lcd and .bin files on a usb and when I go to print the .lcd first it says "unknown file format". Is there something I need to do beforehand?

Photon 5.5 ver 4.2.12

I have stuck with Anycubic Green resin cause if it ain't broke don't fix it. However with stock shortages lately I am forced to look elsewhere. If I had to choose between Elegoo or Monocure which would people choose? Any colours that are least finicky?

Thx for the add.

I couldn't really find this anywhere but after putting in my resin, my build plate goes down this deep. Does that look right? Is that too much resin?
My print came out just fine, so I would presume it's okay for the build plate to immerse itself that much.

Printer (Photon S from black friday sale) arrived yesterday, loaded up the test cube on a different USB but didnt change any settings. There was a drip on the lowest point after the print was done. The corner had a bit of a fail and the panel with Photon on it failed as well.

I take it i need to tweak the exposure settings?

Foes printing a model whose supports/raft covers the entire width/length if the build plate usually work, or is it one of those things that is super finicky and if you aren't perfectly level it won't work?

Ended up with what was supposed to be a raft stuck 75% to the build plate with a quarter of it just hanging off.
