Hi all, does anyone have experience using NOVA3D 3D Printer Rapid Resin in a Proton S?

Amazon Canada is out of Anycubic resin and to order directly from anycubic is like 25% more.

Hi, me again. I have a Photon S and everything is factory set. I did printed the test cube and my first try was a small failed. Part of the cube didn't printed at all. I did printed the cube again and it went super well!!!

Now, I'm trying to print a small figure. My problem is related to the photon file that I have to put on the USB key to print. I've used Chitubox to generate all my support and save an STL file. Then I've opened the Photon Workshop V2 program to slice the STL file and to get a ".PWS" file.

After that I'm inserting my USB key in the printer and select "Print". At that point, there is no file appearing on the screen. I 've shut down the print and leaved the key inserted. Then put the printer on, and still no file to be print.

I just dont know what to do now!!!

USB ket is a new 64GB Fat32. I took a pic of of the file saved on the key and shot a video with the printer. Using a MacBook Pro.

I just purchased the Photon S on Amazon sale. Waiting for screen gasket to arrive before printing. I don’t have a PLA printer but my coworker was nice enough to print this curing box for me on his upgraded Prusa MK2.

Hey guys, I'm wondering if any of you guys can help me out with your experiences (specifically people whose printers live outside and relatively "open" to the elements)!

Recently I've started noticing flakes of semi cured resin turning up in my vat when I've been removing prints (I try to do this at night/in the afternoon to limit UV exposure) and I was wondering whether anyone else had experienced this?
I *was* thinking it was perhaps due to how dusty my balcony gets, or perhaps due to the top layer of resin being partially cured when I open the door to remove my build plate or something (on the few instances I remove builds during the day), but now I'm starting to think it may be caused by outdated firmware (saw something on another post last night about someone else have similar ish issues and a potential solution was to update the firmware).

I'm interested in whatever you guys have to say regarding this, and as a note I do plan to improve the setup a little with dedicated hinged doors (ideally out of UV blocking acrylic but possibly just MDF in the interim) I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Photos 1-3 show the flakes in the bottom of the vat, removed and the thickness of the thickest one I could easily spot (roughly 0.2mm, probably the LH from my last print, although that could've been 0.5)
Photos 4 and 5 show my current WIP set up (printer is on the left, eventually going to have a washing/curing station and a spot to filter unused resin on the right)
Photo 6 is to give you an idea of how much dust I've gotten in the roughly month and a half I've been using this set up (previously I had the printer in my living room, but removed it because my brother was complaining about the smell - fair enough)

TIA for all suggestions :)

so my photon finished a print, and now for whatever reason the z movement is incredibly, almost impossible slow. While it does move, it does so at an impossible crawl, I cant imagine it would be able to print

Does anyone know of a quick fix for this? or is it more likely im looking at a dead motor?

UPDATE: now it doesnt move at all, I think dead motor is the most likely, with lydia gone I cant get anyone on anycubic to help lol

First successful print using Chitu latest slicer software. Question do you cure under UV first before trying to remove supports?

I have a question. I have a photon s. The slicer software that came with it the file saves as photons. I got a new computer and downloaded I assume the newest slicer software. It saves the files as pws. My printer wont read that. What do I need to do

I am returning this... (Though now I am beginning to think it is just the Elegoo Gray resin still)

1) It doesn't really cure well at all. My prints cure better in the sun. I have had mine "curing" in front of it literally all day, and it's still not cured. I don't have it on a turn table...obviously, but I do have it in a tinfoil covered box.

2) They didn't even include the turn table that was supposed to be include. (Okay, I see there was "fine print" that I didn't see when I ordered. Yeesh. Just fricking ship it. Don't make your customers jump through hoops.

RETURNING for a REFUND.
