So, last night my printer started making a sound like a dying moose when it is printing. The up motion is fine and the beginning of the down motion is fine. It's at the end of the down motion it makes the sound. Being a fairly mechanically inclined sort, It "sounds" like something need to be greased... Has anyone ran into this? What needs to be greased? Please don't tell me it's a motor problem...

First, I want to say how incredibly helpful you all have been. Just reading the questions and comments, not to mention the insane resource that the website is, just blows my mind. Thank you all.

Two quick questions:

If you are not changing resins, is it important to filter it back into the bottle periodically to clean the FEP and filter out any small islands and if so, how often?

In ChituBox settings, the way I understand the Light-Off Delay is the time the light is off before the platform moves, correct? So if the layer exposure time is 8 seconds, and light off delay is 1, there are 9 seconds between movement cycles? Is there a benefit to this?

Am I crazy or is this new screen not working right? I ordered two elegoo mars screens Because my photon one has developed a burnt out section. Neither one would display the exposure test on the lcd so I thought I just got two bad screens and returned them to amazon and ordered one direct from Anycubic. But this Anycubic one isn’t display the exposure test either. Did I mess something up?

Hello ! I'm trying to print using chitubox and the photon file validator but the file exported it as .photon and the printer doesn't recognise that extension.... how do I have to export the file?
