Mixing Resins for Noobs Please...
I started using AC green.. way too brittle. I switched to Siraya ABS-Like Fast Gray, and have been very happy (with a few exceptions). I've experienced some smaller parts break off when dropped (I know you can't avoid all injuries). However, when a player in my campaign buys a model from Hero Forge and I print it off for them, I'd like it to not break the very first time he puts it on the table.
So, what is the resin recommendations to mix with my Siraya Fast? I've heard Tenacious at 10%?
Questions:
1- How do you go about mixing? In a separate bottle? In the VAT? etc.
2- How precise do folks need to be, when mixing %'s? I mean, do folks just eye ball it?
3- Is there a better resin out there for mixing than the Tenacious? One that doesn't cost an arm/leg? I mean, the Tenacious is double the cost of the Fast Gray...
Thanks
