I know this is a Photon group but a lot of you have fdm printers. I want to purchase one but I have no experience with fdm's, so I'm looking for a beginner, user friendly (if possible), large build area and preferably under $750.00. Let me know what you all suggest, thanks.

Changed my FEP film and re leveled and got these prints. A minor error on the angel with one set of wings near the middle of the shield and arm. But otherwise really happy about the result (drybrushed white to see details before painting)

First prints went extremely well, to the exception of one stray support piece on one side of my print bed which stayed stuck to the fep. My first thought is to re-level the bed as that segment may not be close enough.

Any other specific items I should look out for in the case of only one very small section not sticking to the build plate ?

Is this a bed leveling issue or a hollow cavity filled with resin issue? Or something else entirely. The thorax of the spider should be attached. Also there is a hole at the base of the thorax and one at the front bottom.

Does it exist a (reasonably priced and easily printable) "eco" resin that I can touch barehands (it's okay to wash them immediately after) and breath without worries (I do have a destinkynator with active carbon filter and it helps but is not enough for the smell)?

Maybe a stupid question, but is it super important for a Photon to stand on a super stable surface (like it is for a normal 3D printer), or is there not a lot of movement generated?

I would like this to become the stand for the Photon. With my own DYI integrated UV drying chamber ?

Ok.

I tried a few more prints last night and they failed.

There was a severe temperature drop outside last night and I forgot I had the window open a tiny bit and the temp in my room dropped so they weren’t sticking to the build plate.

Current settings are 120 second exposure for bottom 3 layer and 14 seconds per layer with 1 second off time which is what the spreadsheet says. That is if I read it correctly.

Baby Yoda is running on the machine now!! Will be about 5 hours!
