Hey all. I'm looking to try a print for the first time at 0.02 layers rather than 0.05 to get an idea of the difference in detail. Has anyone tried this with any of the Anycubic transparent resins at all and if so could I ask what exposure settings you've used as a starting point please?

Painting the Roses Red with Anycubic Clear at 0.2mm and 14 sec exposure time. The extra exposure time may have helped prevent the thin walls from splitting as they did in a previous attempt using 12 sec exposure.

Trying to learn how to do supports , So I try auto , platform only to see what it suggests needs supporting.

I could go from there , but then I try "ALL" and i get a million supports.

Is "ALL" a good indicator of what really needs supports rather then the platform , one or could I get away with that?

Wish It would work more like Cura where you can tell it to stay of the model but still do supports where needed but yes..

Should I use all as an indicator and then try to achieve those supports manually ?

Any tips ?

Condition of the fex ex box that contains resin, a backup lcd and back up FEP film. What do you think the odds are that the FEP in here is still good? What should I be looking for when I open this to tell me it is dead or fine.

So I went to try hero forge test prints they fall off the bed.

I tried a really up scale baby yoda (95% of bed )

And failed didn’t get past the support tray.

It’s on on small things ie small baby yoda and a d20 dice holder but anything larger it fails at support base level.

How often do you change out ipa in your cleaner/washer?
I have a small ultrasound , wondering if i need fresh ipa for each clean , which would turn out expensive.

I filter the resin and releveled the plate. I even replaced the fep sheet. These autosupports are built in prusa and then I sliced the thing in photon workshop.
