Help please, what is the best orientation on a tank ?
I have tried 2 diff. orientation, flat on the traks and on 23 % on the X, both didn't print well.
Please have you tried other ?

Hi all, Looking for some resin recommendations...as I plan on printing a lot of small parts and miniatures (1-72 to 1-48 scales). I need something that holds good detail, doesn't smell much, can be sanded/cut if necessary, and isn't brittle. I have been thinking about Elegoo or eSun. Hope to hear from some users on this one :)

Hello all, I'm working on a Han Solo cosplay and I found an STL I liked on thingiverse. I have a couple of questions. First, off there are some parts that will be too large for my photon and I don't like the idea of cutting the model up so I was going to use my ender 3 to print them, has anyone mixed PLA and resin parts on one model and is it hard to make the parts look good togeather. (Sorry for the long question). And secondly, where would be the best place to put supports on this model I've never done a part this big and the auto supports seem underwelming...

I just re-leveled it the other day...

But the funny thing is, the ear didn't have a lot of red in chitubox, so I didnt think it'd need much support... guess I was wrong?

I did hollow it. Nice large hole in base. And I put a few internal supports.

Hello,

I have a question regarding usage of my 3D printer.

I use it beginning of December for test. (very bad smell in tho room)

I package it until Christmas, smell leave after few days in the room.

but when I re-open it after Christmas, and don't use it but only put in in by room. Odor come back in the room.

I open all window, i re-package the printer, the resine....

odor stay in the room even after 2 full day with open window.

Odor stay in the room but : no more printer, no more resine... and no odor in the other room where I store these package

Could you help me? where this odor come form ?

is it harmful?

how can I do to clean this smell?

Good morning all. I need your knowledge. I have been having problems with my photon for a while now. The prints are not beautiful, and I cannot stabilize the supports. They are ugly and break. I changed the screen, the FEP, tried several resins and made a Z adjustment, I downgrade to 2.18, and I use Chitubox. I tend to believe that my Z is still poorly adjusted. What do you think?

I’ve tried anycubic, monocure, and Wanhao resine. 0,05mm and many try with heavy, medium and light supports. And of course a lot of figurines
