Nr 7 or 8? That means 14 or 16 seconds? I have printed by now with 8 second (with fairly decent quality,) that is half of what test says.

Is the anycubic resin any good? Or is there another brand you guys would recommend?

I've just found 1ltr anycubic grey for £29.99 on fleabay. Is this a good price?

I normally use technology outlets own brand of resin, but that was being used on my sparkmarker SLA.

Folks,
I am learning of the printing since last two weeks. Could you tell me is it normal that lower part of the print is blurry and deformed whereas upper is sharp and crispy?

I printed 2, but one of them looks like this..
It has happend inside the last 24 hours or so....

What resin should i use for knobs and functional parts , most of what i print is parts for vintage synths , so switches and knobs etc , so brittle stuff is not suitable , something that behaves like pla and abs would be nice.
Something that is rigid , non brittle and has a little give.

Any thoughts ?

3W UV (405nm) LED actually cures the resin so fast that it generates smoke... I think it might be unhealthy ?

Btw is there any interest buying curingstations? Thinking about starting to make simple ones..
3D (FDM) printed enclosure, in total 12w 405nm LED, spinning plate and timer, active cooling of LEDs ofcourse. Im thinking price would be around 100usd +shipping for a timer one and around 50 for a simple wallplug and switch.

Hi all, after months of great prints, i'm having issues lately.

i can print fine when the whole object is flat on the FEP, but when i just went to print a new ethernet backplane (below) i stopped after 90 lines, becuse i could see that the supports had printed fine, but nothing visible of the backplane.

draining the tank showed that backplanes contact point just produced a line, stuck to the FEP.

most of the supports in the below are manually added, because the Chitu auto support tool only added like 5

printing with anycubic black, and a new fep tuned to ~325Hz

can anyone suggest anything, should i lift the piece off the fep, and add a raft/supports under it?

Hola a todos.
He realizado el test de exposición y no sé bien cómo interpretarlo. La resina es Esun standar gris. Os agradecería me ayudarais. Me pasaron configuración de 13 segundos por capa de 0.05 pero me sale la pieza muy engrosada. La impresora es la Photon S.
