Printing some Prusa extruder parts out of a Siraya Sculpt/Blu blend. Doing a little digging it seems the jury is out on how well resin parts work. Some say they work fine and others say they fail over time. Only one way to find out!

Got my photon s and I’ve never had issues on my photon classic, I use prusaslicer for supports and use photon workshop to slice but I keep getting this artifacts, tried using a better usb and realizing important and checking files so I’m wondering if it’s a firmware issue

The first screenshot shows how Prusa Slicer placed the initial support for the first layer (orange color) on the model. If finds all those islands and put at least one support. Placement of those support is either on one end, in the middle or a third part of the island strip. Is such method of adding support already enough for the first part of the model? Additional support were also added 9 layers later at 0.05mm per layer. I am thinking of adding additional support on the middle and the other end making sure the pulling action from the FEP will bring that part without bending much.

I can find this out on my own but why waste resin and time when someone already knew the answer from their experience. I believed those who are also just beginning to understand how support should be added can learn from this.

Aside from a minor issue with failure due to too few supports on the elbows, I'm really happy with Prusa slicer, and the supports cleaned off beautifully. Just over 3 hours, AC White resin, .05mm, 8 and 80 second exposure times.

Second print on my photon a hollowed out chess skull... Forgot to add a hole but its all goos.... Need a uv lamp now tho lol... Thabks to everyone who helpped me out with the setting and stuff prusa suports and truly amaxing and easy to take off

iv noticed a lot of people here say they use Prusa slicer for supports. This is very shocking to me as I absolutely hated their supports when printing on my FDM. People who said they use Prusa for supports. You using supports like below? You dont find it hard to take them off? I would think it would be even bigger pain with resin

I bought a photon specifically to print miniatures for DnD. Had a Prusa Mk3S for year and while it prints everything else awesome. It struggles with 28mm size miniatures.

This is first miniature I printed and painted (WIP) on photon. Miniature is from Artisan Guild Miniatures . I am not disappointed with the quality this thing print. Simply amazing. If you into miniatures; check out Artisan Guild on Patreon.

I just purchased the Photon S on Amazon sale. Waiting for screen gasket to arrive before printing. I don’t have a PLA printer but my coworker was nice enough to print this curing box for me on his upgraded Prusa MK2.
