Bonjour, imprimé avec une Prusa. Il y a des inserts pour les vis latérales.

Hello all. Got some fails last days and don’t know why. The process to create a file is meshmixer for fixing the model and hollowing, prusa slicer for support then chitubox for slicing and finally photon validator for fixing islands. The result is that only supports are coming out without nothing sticking on them. The only difference than before is that here in Italy now is autumn and we got some more umidity and low temp. Any advice? This is going drive me crazy ?

Edit: resin is anycubic translucent green, base layer exposition time is 90sec for 4 layers then 8 sec each layer.

Which slicer would be the Simplify3D for SLA? ChituBox is ok, Prusa is ok but no software is really good. It is not nice to have to use multiple software to get part ready for printing.

I have used Simplify3D with my FDM printer and it just works. It is super fast, simple, logical and good. Design a model, pop it in Simplify and it does the rest.

Hey Everyone, first time posting, been lurking for a while. Got my Anycubic Photon, been getting really great results from my first several prints with Elegoo Grey resin.

I have a question about slicing software. I have been using ChiTuBox with 3DPrintingPro's settings. But I've seen a lot of comments in this group about using PrusaSlicer instead. I wanted to see if it's worth switching, and how to set up Prusa if I do.

I sincerely appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

those of you who use the prusa slicer for auto support generation, (Ive never used slic3r or any prusa software before), this is for you....

I saw some posts yesterday with remarkable looking results and wanted to ask a general question.

When using the app, what is the step procedure? IS it:
load stl
scale to fit build plate
optimize orientation
scale to fit (to resize it larger)
auto supports

and then what? Save as 3mf and import to chitubox or do you just slice with prusa slicer?

Siraya Blu + Tenacious (2:1), bit I used the Prusa sliced to auto orient and automatic supports and .... it worked! I thought the supports were a little light but I was impressed

Just to see if I'm getting this right...after running the file through the prusaslicer for auto-supports, then do you guys run the file through chitubox for manual supports elsewhere? I haven't played with the prusaslicer much, but the auto-supports seem a little thick as well.

Morning all,

So, the Photon arrived, got it levelled and set up as per all the info available on here and github.

Test print done with the green resin which came with it and all seems well.

From digging around on here I've seen some really useful information on precision fit parts, resin settings, tolerances etc via the GO-NOGO which is all super handy.

However....I can find very little info on Voxel and how to actually use it to fix XY issues, I have it all installed etc.

Can anybody help a noob out on how to go about using the software? just simply things like getting down to the .1mm tolerance by using the software.

I already have Z-suite, but I've not set it up with the Photon yet, additionally I have Prusa slicer too, but looking on Github about getting that set up, blew my tiny mind!

Apollo 11 hatch, I used PrusaSlicer for the supports and it did a fantastic job on the tiny bits. It was a little light on supports on the bottom outer edge, but nothing a little epoxy putty can't fix.

Hey guys, just ordered one of these after a faulty mars.

Have many of you been able to make parts with decent accuracy? Ie prototype parts etc rather than models?

I use my prusa a lot and it's accurate for the most part, but struggles on the finer details I need
