Hi all, just noticed that reinforced glass on my new Photon S is a tiny little bit higher (about 0,2mm) on bootom-left corner than on the others, and FEP kind of clings to it when moved in place (I always lifted it both while inserting and extracting it before). I didn't have any leakage or something, should I contact tech support or is it normal?

Hi Folks.
I have been thinking re the issue that some people have when the FEP leaks and your tray is stuck to the LCD.

Many of us have phone screen protectors i.e. the thin clear plastic overlay.
There are some available for larger tablets etc. One of these would be an idea if it covered over the screen and the edges.

Yes - you will have to re do you Z end stop.. but it might be easier that replacing a screen.
Alternatively if you are worried about the thickness of the screen protector there is also cling wrap.

Hello everyone,

I've noticed that there are some thick lines on my prints and I can't figure out what's going on... Tried several different settings, resins, positions, supports and hollow models.

The bottom section of the z axis is
a bit clunky and doesn't go down smoothly. The upper section is smooth though. Please watch video. There is a subtle click at second 10 and 22. Difficult to hear. Not sure if this is the cause...

Any ideas?

OK...I know it is me...and i am doing something wrong...but why does Chitubox not allow me to click on areas and add a support. I click all around the spot, move up a layer, move down a layer...it just won't put a support there! So frustrating to use the Photon Validator and find the spot that needs the support but then not be able to get it to place. Rant over...now waiting for an education!

I attempted to print a file on my photon. 1.5 hours later, the print finished but I noticed the Z motor never moved. Now, I cannot move it with up and down arrows. I powered it on and off. Unplugged and replugged. Did a firmware update and an eeprom reset but none of these worked. Prior to this print, I did an exposure finder test where I had to click on test mode.gcode, but I later clicked on the print mode. to revert back to the peeling action. Any possible solutions or suggestions to fix this issue?

Hi all.
I'm noob and i'm facing seriorus issues with black anycubic resin.
I can't success in having a print done. First layer fails in sticking to the plate.
I leveled, fep ok. I tried bottom exposure at 90, 120s but no success. At 120 i heard the click sound but later once completed nothing sticked to the plate. Any suggestion????

Anyone have this issue after updating firmware? (Photon S)

Edit: It seems power cycling has remedied the issue for now. Not sure what's going on maybe a loose ribbon cable?

Just odd because I've been printing for weeks no issues and first print after updating the firmware this happens..

Need help with a Photon S problem. Does anybody ever find that when you go to the click print and it brings up the preview screen, that certain files freeze up the machine and you can't click print (or anything)? Some files this happens on, others it does not. I'm not sure how to resolve it. Sometimes reslicing the file fixes it, and sometimes just copying it back over the .photons file fixes it. I've ruled out the memory card as I've encountered the issue across 3 different known good cards (none of which came with the machine.) Any ideas?
