Tried some alcohol ink to tint Primacreator Value Clear (as it yellows quite badly but otherwise prints beautifully). I got indigo, hoping to end up with something clear-ish (like an optical whitening effect from bluing for laundry or toner for hair) or at least more blue/teal instead of pee yellow. Only did a tiny amount and tiny print just to see if it would cure.

Instead of blue/clear... I got hot pink. Not what I wanted but it worked and I ain't even mad. Poor lil guy lost a leg in support removal but his other, uh, details are perfect.

Pretty happy with my new bottle of printer sauce - Prima Creator Value DLP Resin (Clear).

Hadn't seen anyone else using this exact resin, but the properties are supposed similar to Siraya Blu - but easier to get my hands on in the EU. It's supposed to cure faster than most resins but I had to do 10s at 0.02, upped from my first try at 8s, to get a really good level of detail. The tiny tiny numbers (0.10, 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80, 1.00) are actually quite legible in person (with a magnifier), even if they're super hard to photograph.

This is post-cured (washed in ResinAway, cured underwater for about 2 minutes with a nail light), and it's yellowed a little but not too bad. I think adding a couple drops of blue/purple pigment would counteract it so it wouldn't look yellowed post-cure.

(Chessex D20 for scale, as I sent these pictures to some non-printing friends).

Speak to me of post-processing, specifically, how to get a glossy finish on printed resin surfaces. I'm using Anycubic grey, and have wet sanded with very fine sandpaper, buffed with micro-abrasive, and used a rotary tool buffer and I can get a slight sort of sheen but not glossy. The surfaces are perfectly flat (faceted sides of various geometric shapes) so it's not like there's lots of little crevices.

I need a smooth, high-gloss-as-possible finish for molding and casting, and am not averse to a coating as long as it won't destroy any detail in the few areas that need it, or react with silicone for molding.

Currently waiting on the arrival of my Photon and looking at my options for an enclosure with additional filtration/venting, as I'll be running the printer in my home office (which is tiny, and I need to be in there while the printer is running), and I very much do not want to make myself sick.

Can anyone tell me the minimum dimensions for such an enclosure? I can find the printer's dimensions, but I know there's additional clearance needed at top, front, and back for things like the door, power, and USB stick.
