hi guys, is there a way to start a print on the photon via PC ?
my touch screen display isn't working and i have to print something out for a client :D ,, any tips are welcome ....thank you ;)

What would make my models lose detail on the side closest to the build plate? I often print my miniatures looking like they're on a reclining bed of needles, and they always end up having overly smooth, poor resolution on their back.

I thought initially I wasn't being careful enough while cleaning and wasn't getting all the resin off the back, but its not the case. What else could it be?

Guys!! Peopoly just sent me the beta for Asura 1.5 and I gotta say its amazing for support generation and hollowing of models. I've tested it on all of my problem models and it seems to do the best job out of every program I have.

Printed a character I designed a while back. Modeled polygon style, not sculpted. Primed and glued together. Came out alot nicer than my first one but I think ill print one more once my new clippers get here so I can do better with support removal. Overall im pretty happy with it. This is the smallest I could print this too, any smaller and its impossible to remove supports without destroying the fiddly bits.

Finally got a chance to fire it up! Printing the cube from the usb first. Thought I'd film the satisfying "click" of the first few layers. Notably though, now it's doing the faster layers the click is.much quieter, I had a panic when it went quiet but now it's just a little "tic" sound and you can see the resin level pop when the models comes off the FEP sheet.

The USB didn't work at first, it just flashed rapidly. So I put it in my computer and it started working, then when I put it in the printer it worked fine!

It's 23c in here at the moment but I gave the platform a little blast of heat from a craft heat gun to warm it up and wiped it with a lens cloth and IPA.

I'm not sure if I put enough resin in (filled to the first line on the tank, used about half the sample bottle I think) but will keep an eye on that, but now the long nervous wait to see if a) I get a print and b) it's any good!

Hi all. First post . After mounths of reaserch I decided to go with the any cube over the wanhao. I have a few quick questions. First do I or should I upgrade firmware and how do I do. Second I know to hollow out objects and to build on 30%, incline and resin safty but are there other tips or trick I must know. Also do people think this is enough to keep smell from going to rest of house .in garage fan would go in window .or do I need to make air tight.thanks !
