Has anyone had the LED array go bad? I ask as one of my printers is continually failing where the supports attach to the part. I can run the exact same print/settings (the same USB to be clear) on another photon and it works fine so the LED is the only thing I can think of. It's not a leveling issue as it adheres to the build plate fine. I also swapped the vat and no difference.

I cranked up the exposure a few seconds (More than the other photons need with same exact file and resin) and it helped but still had some support failures.

I did just change out the LCD in this printer but not seeing any issues there.

Ideas?

Had to mess with something inside the photon and the lcd display ribbon came loose, and I can’t seem to get them back in. In a video I watched it looked like you press the sides of the clips to get them back in but I can’t seem to get it. Any help would be great

Hey everyone,

So i have been having an issue with my printer. It keeps giving me the T_100 LCD error and says "please try to continue printing" but it wont print. I told anycubic and got a new motherboard that i put in as well as a new LCD screen. I have updates with both 1.0 and 1.1 and both come up with the same error. If anyone has had this issue, please let me know. Thank you very much for the help!

Has someone encountered a problem like me ?
My Photon still print fine but it's will reboot when print update.lcd. With .bin it's fine. It is not the fault of the firmware file because I tried with different versions, it always reboots when I print .lcd file.

Photon just got delivered by UPS. First thing I noticed while un-packaging was there is a ~5mm x 5mm scratch that takes a right angle on the LCD (not the FEP). Seems to project the rectangle pattern fine...

Is it going to cause issues?

Hola a todos

Después de unas cuantas huellas, mi fotón ya no funciona:

- Power switch convierte la pantalla lcd en correctamente

- Usb está funcionando, puedo leer el contenido de la tarjeta

- sin ventilador

- No hay posible movimiento en el z-Axis

- No hay luz uv en la pantalla LCD

Puedo "lanzar" una impresión, la pantalla de impresión adecuada aparece pero nada más.

I've got a quick question about corrupted layers in a 29 layer print that I've sliced and attempted several times with a few different USB drives that have functioned well in the past.

I have the last 4 or 5 layers artifacting every time.

My google-foo says it's likely a poor connection between mainboard and LCD but what have you guys found with this symptom ?

Note: I just checked same layers back on computer through validator reading the same file I attempted and shows perfectly normal and no artifacts in file.

Got a problem with my older photon, (blue windows) I just changed the LCD, did the UV detection, level the plate, all good no hickup. I noticed when I print, the plate don't move up/down between exposition like my newer one. I flashed it to the latest firmware (4.2.17) and while at it I also installed the photonster UI (thanks God, I can now read what's on the screen!) Still same issue, the build plate don't move up/down between exposure. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Anyone have a working profile for Monocure Rapid Clear?

I have alot of issues with it. According to the Photon calibrator test 16 second is what I need. Sound odd to me.

Now the printa usually come out alright. Except for the underside where supports connect. It's like it can't handle it. It's like there is tons of pooling that them cures so the undersides are all lumpy and looks terrible. I don't know if it's the settings, the FEP, the LCD or something completely different.

I will post shitty pictures. But my camera sucks and it's clear resin so I understand if you guys can't see anything.

Hope you don't mind me spamming the group, but maybe I've found why my prints are constantly failing - the build plate cannot be leveled. I move it down, thin paper can be removed but resists, press z=0, Confirm...then press Home, and it still goes higher than before, there's about a millimeter between the LCD and the build plate.

I'm getting really bloody frustrated.
