Hi all, has anyone tried replacing their LCD screen with cheaper non-Anycubic parts? Any success?

Just got my photon S (upgraded supposedly but I don’t see anything in the menu that the upgraded S is supposed to have) and did an LCD test. This is what I got. It didn’t match the test square at all. PLEASE tell me this is correct and I didn’t just get a huge piece of worthless junk right out of the box??? ?

Over a couple months use I've ended up with residue on the LCD. I assume its accumulated spots of cured resin. ?‍♂️ Any tips on cleaning it? Or does this dictate replacing the LCD?

I have a problem with my photon, I changed the lcd screen, I did the test to see the box, I did it without problems, when I happened to glue the tape and put the screws, I wanted to check again; I did the test and surprise I see that the light flickers or flashes on the screen. Why is this happening and how can I correct it?

I posted earlier looking for help with this problem. I seem to have a thin spot in the centre of my raft and the supports dont connect to it. you can clearly see the gap in the first picture and the "bald spot" in the second one (they are from different files).

I have replaced my LCD, checked and rechecked the files, levelled my printer and rechecked the build plate height

Hi everyone, Getting a weird issue with my LCD atm. I replaced the LCD because I was getting light bleed, but I screwed up the replacement because I wasn't careful enough with the ribbon cable and tore it. Anyways, I put the original LCD back and plugged it in however, when doing a UV exposure test the pattern no longer shows up. I was extra careful with this LCD this time, so got any ideas?
It was working fine before I took it out. TIA 翻譯年糕

Okay, new problem. When I am on firmware 4.2.17 I can perform the UV test on the photon and it is perfect. However, when I update to 4.2.18 or 4.2.19 the LCD goes crazy when performing the test. Any advice? I would really like to use the new firmware as it removes frame-shearing.
