So here is what going on ... had the photon fo 1 week.. all the supports are printing.. but as for the model.. only half the surface is printing...
Just releveled.. mixex the resin..

Discovered a crack in my lcd screen yesterday. I'm also having an issue with resin leakage from the vat, which is frustrating because I just changed the film because of leakage. Could a dameged lcd result in a leak? Is it simply a coincidence?

hello ppl, i have a question. What do you use for take cover of your LCD to protect it from resin in case of FEP rupture. I found few posts about kapton tape or some "glass" covers. Can someone explain me, how you "install" it in the machine? If someone can post some photos pls. AND, if you do that, is there any change for exposure times or is there anything different? (Maybe you have to also relevel Z=0?)

Should I add some kind of adhesive to the inside of the LCD screen when replacing it? All videos I have seen do not but the original had some black adhesive and I dont want my 2k screen to pop out mid print.

It used up all resin.

I did export file directly to USB.

I'm just posting this in case someone else comes across this in the future.

If you just got your printer and there's a dot that doesn't look pixalated this might be your issue. After cleaning both the LCD screen, the Fep and checking the file the problem still remained. I opened up the machine and found a piece of foam that had been attached to the bottom of the LCD screen. It wasn't until I removed the UV light that I found the problem. ***please take care when opening the machine so as not to damage any of the wires that are still attached***

Hi sad news!

I was cleaning my printer after a print and found out that my screen is broken.

I bought the printer begin april this year.

Before the print the was just fine, no damages nothing. I heard no strange sound during printing.

I contacted anycubic allready but no response het but do someone know of i can buy only the screen without the lcd or is of one assembly.

Sorry for my bad english, its not my strongest part of me but printing is :p

Does anyone have instructions on how to get to the LCD ribbon to check for connectivity on an Anycubic Photon S? My ~30 day old screen has been giving some funky artifacts and it was recommended that I check for a loose connection, but all of the instructions that I found online was geared towards the original Photon.

Right now the screen will pass the 3 second UV test 1-3 times (with a minute rest between tests) after powering on. After that, it just goes back to emitting artifacts. No, Photon S, I don't want you to print me some funky terrain, I want my DnD minis!
