Does anyone have 3dmax that could convert some free files for me into .obj or .stl? They are from sketchfab.com and they are clean and 100% free no shady stuff, I just don't have the ability to open .max files.

My first callibration test- but can’t read it. I am so impressed about the detail the photon s is capable of. I used the ameralabs stl und did a RERF. Is that the scaling in which the test is meant to be ???? It is so tiny I can’t even interpret it without a magnifying glass. I am using the anycubic white resin and started with 4s exposure up to 11s.
Really having a hard time to decide for an exposure time. Picture 2 and 3 show 4 sec exposure (left side) and 8 sec exposure (right side) the tiny tower only starts forming at 8 sec exposure. Before it is always underexposed I guess. But - the gaps between the building as well as the the little square wholes start to get undefined with everything more than 4 sec exposure. Which setting should I go for?

hopefully this is ok but does anyone have any groups they know of for people looking to share stl's for wargaming or general stls? would liek to ask there instead of spamming this group every time i want a model i can't find

Any experience with using Sparkmaker resin ?
I see they have different types as well as the dye thing.

I would think that with using dyes you would have a lot of leftover resin so not sure about that.

Mostly interested in the T - E - N types if you have any experiences ?

I’m looking for a site that I could possibly download (free) stl files related solely to diorama building. Like, structures/buildings, electricals, etc. If you’ve ever watched any of Luke Town videos, you’ll have an idea of what I’m looking for. Thinkiverse and similar sites don’t really have much of what I’m looking for.

Does anyone have any advise on how to prevent the lifting I'm experiencing?

I'm using Elegoo ABS-like Grey and the raft keep getting warped, although the model comes out fine weirdly.

I've tried it on multiple different stl's & have used the settings from the Google sheet along with upping the bottom exposure time & bottom layer counts, which seems to be helping a bit, as in the model isn't falling off the build plate anymore, but I'm still getting the lift.

So I have been considering a resin drip system for my photon and was looking into some options. Mainly looking at indoor irrigation systems for your plants, thought maybe it's sort of the same concept. Here's my first experiment with an iv drip... I was honestly surprised that it actually worked, still need to do some mods to it to be workable. It's a $1.50 80ml chemical bottle and a $6.00 iv kit. Drilled a hole into the cap of the bottle, slid in the iv, crazy glued it to the cap and shortened up the tubing. I have to open the valve all the way open to get a drop every 3-4 secs. At least the bottle is small so even if all the resin pours in then it will not overfill the vat. Still a work in progress, the other idea is an auto irrigation system with a timer and electrical adjustment.

Totally digging this 3d printer. Bought the .stl for this guy to use as a bloodthirster for Warhammer. Time to greenstuff the gaps and test out the new airbrush i got for xmas.

if i just changed my lcd screen and now all my prints are sticking mostly to my fep, is this a leveling issue?
