Chitu 1.6.1 some odd things happening with new update.

1. Most of my models, when opening, now have the wrong print settings.

2. Opening and STL doesnt not always open the file, have to try 2x or it will actually open the wrong file.

3. They mentioned having imported suggested settings for many resins from the manufacturers. I dont see those settings available.

anyone else notice anything odd or not working? think im going to roll back until fixes are made.

Hi Guys, Recently got the photon S and thanks to some helpful people here got a successful print of the test file from anycubic.

I've gone to print my first file, added supports etc and thought I was ready to print.

However as soon as I plug a USB with the file into the printer the touchscreen becomes non-responsive, not even recovering if the USB is removed. I delete the file off the USB and it doesn't freeze the photon when plugged in again.

I tthought it might be the crappy included USB so tried another USB without any success either.

My process for preparing the file had been:
1)auto orient and supports from prusa slicer
2)import stl into chitubox to export as .photon
3)use photon validator to check for islands
4)fix islands in chitubox
5)export as photon from chitubox

When I first started getting the freezing I tried exporting from chitubox as a stl and importing into photon workshop and exporting from there as a pws but still having the same issue

Hey all. Been printing with FDM for a little over a year now and looking to get my first resin printer. I will be printing mostly table top minis. I am looking at the Photon or Photon S. What is the difference and which would be best for me? Some have said the Photon is more than enough and has wider community support which is a selling point for me as well as it being less money but what would I be gaining out of the Photon S? Thanks for the help. These are my first steps into resin printing so I am sure I will have lots of questions.

Hey guys! I am a using an upgraded photon at the moment, but want to add something better to my collection. Mostly for mass producing small parts.
What would you recommend? I am lookig at the zortax inkspire kit...or maybe the the prusa?

I am about to buy the Photon S to make jewelry. Before I make the purchase , do you have any source suggestions for stl files I can purchase that can be used for the Photo S. I am new to printing, but not to jewelry making. Thanks.

Im currently testing chitubox but the .stl doesnt load to the build pad. the only thing I get is a dark shadow, I tired different files but nothing changed. what do I have to do ?
