Two questions:

1) Would anyone care to share their settings for Anycubic Grey on the OG Photon? I am currently doing 14s/layer, but feel like I am loosing detail. I dropped it to 12, but I didn't gain much detail and I started losing supports. I should mention it's probably a little cooler in the room than would be optimal, if that affects things.

2) At what point in the finishing process is the resin safe to touch without gloves? After the IPA bath, or not until after the UV curing is done?

Printed a bridge with next dent resin and the tibase is not seating down into the print. Any advice of why this happened and how to prevent it?

First attempt at a Couatl, off thingiverse... the print failed so I guess I’ll try rotating it differently.

On another hand this is my first vat of black resin and I’m 100% sure I prefer the Grey as far as visibility of the details before painting goes...

What are your favorite colors to print with?

I created a colour swatch to help me mix existing resins to create 'new' colours.

I hadn't had success with CMYK pigments, and mixing batches one by one was a pain in the butt nevermind wasteful.

I could have ordered a custom resin but; 1) I wanted to see a range of colours in person, 2) Wanted to keep resin cost down, 3) Wanted to stick with my preferred resin brands to save dialling in a resin that was unknown to me.

I hope this helps anyone in a similar situation. Will answer any questions you might have.

I could also do with knowing whether the Thingiverse page for it makes enough sense!

Still running on blind luck. Never calibrated, have a hole in the FEP. Changed resin mid print to a completely other type. Auto supports. Rather happy about my fire giant result. (Damn he's big had to wash him in a Ziploc bag, since my normal IPA canister was to small)

I have a problem and so I am trying the group minds of both the resin and printer

I have a Anycubic Photon and using the Monocure 3D Clear (pure with no flex)

I had some successes with the resin test file and then printing out a test file with the new settings twice with full success but then taking off the second one I knocked the plate out of level.

No problem I just relevel like I have done many times before using the paper technique. Now no prints stick to the plate even using the same test file that made successful prints before I had to relevel. Instead I end up with cured resin in the bottom of the vat. I have cleaned and releved the build plate over 6 times now and puting the resin back in the bottle and cleaned the vat at the same time.

What am I doing wrong? I am using the same resin, same file, same settings that worked before but now I am at 100% failure rate

Pretty new to printing with the Photon, but is it correct that this is caused by to short curing times?
Base seems solid.

I used the Elegoo ABS like grey. Used 90 second base layer not sure how many second for normal layer. Need to check at home what I used.

Anyone using same resin and can share settings?

Thanks for all the help thus far! I have just finished validating my file and removed all the islands. I am going to be using regular photon resin, what settings should it be set to? I will be printing a Heroforge mini. The bottle of resin lists a range of exposure times but does anyone have a screen shot of their exposure settings when they printed a successful mini? Thanks so much for all the help!
