My usual printing Resin is Elegoo grey with 10-15% Monocure Flex100 added to it. But Anycubic was kind enough to send me a liter of their Grey resin for giving a review of the Photon on Amazon. Is Anycubic Grey as brittle as Elegoo, and if so does it do well with having Flex100 added to it to made it less brittle? This is for printing miniatures.

How do y'all clean cured resin off your LCDs? I've heard of using acetone to dissolve it, but I'm a bit worried about damaging the screen with that.

Just got my Photon up and running. My test print cube came out perfect. Everything else after...not so much.

I’m trying to print miniatures. I really have no idea what I’m doing. Every print comes out with no details. I have an Ender 3 filament printer that gives much better detail.

I’m using Anycubic Eco Yellow resin, and chitubox for the slicer. I’ve been copying other people’s settings I find by googling, but I can’t really find a good place to start.

I’m willing to do some trial and error, but I’d really like a good starting place. If any of you would be so kind to just explain what slicer you use, with what settings, and why you do so, then I feel like I could at least have a good place to start from.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes time out of their day to help a noob out. ?

Having an issue that I havent seen anyone discuss here:

My prints are coming out great, but after every print I have resin stuck on my FEP. I'm not getting failures, and I always verify I have zero islands in Photon Validator before I run it.

Any ideas? It's getting old having to drain my vat and clean the FEP after every print.

QUICK QUESH!

I'm considering gifting a Photon to my son for his birthday. He lives in a small apartment (with a gf and a ridiculous amount of cats.)

I want to send him the Low-Odor Anycubic Eco resin, BUT I DON'T SEE THE RESIN SETTINGS IN THE MAGIC SPREADSHEET.

Surely somebody has logged the optimal resin settings for the Plant-based stuff, right?

So as some of you may recall form yesterday, I posted a pic of hardened resin on my LCD.

I was able to get it cleaned off (thanks for all the tips)

However... this morning my print had a HUGE hole in it and was missing one of it's feet! :(

I removed the basin, and guess what? More hardened resin.... this time green.... I think my basin is leaking, though it doesnt feel wet at all on the bottom of the ... the...uh...clear plastic bottom of the basin. (cant think of what it's called)
But the LDC appears to be fine as far as it's lights all go. (the last pic is of my LDC lit up without the resin on the screen)
